So I just finished watching Kingsglaive and OMG that was the most badass animated movie I have ever seen. My word! Bloody hell I was totally floored during most of it's running time. The work they have done on this is beyond anything I have ever seen. Absolutely brilliant and fantastic movie, by far my favourite this year, Star Wars 7, Star Trek 3 ain't got nothing on this.

you're the first person here who liked it. i loved the action and CGI but the story was pretty awful, imo.

I'd say once you get to the part where you have to take the boat to Altissia, stop and do as many side quests as you can, because at that point it'll still make sense story-wise to do so.

I've only had it happen a single time, but I was out at night and was fighting some random demons out in the road so I could get back in the car. JUST before I killed the last one, the red airship showed up, Aranea jumped out and joined the full party of 4 to help out...and then immediately left again since everything was dead. Hasn't happened since, and seems like it will be pointless if it does since my group is so overleveled now.
So I tried to punch a bit over my weight class kind of by accident.
You know how Cindy has you perform various fetch quests for the Regalia? Well the last one (I think) sends you into a very bad place that you can enter while really underleveled.

The Crestholm Channel sewers are a maze from hell and you can slide into a level 49 Nagarani when I was level 39. Because I'm a stubborn asshole instead of realizing my folly and reloading a burned a shitload of items and spammed overwhelm to eventually fell the fucker. Only to continue to get lost and repeatedly impaled by Yojimbo enemies and burn even more precious healing items. Once I finally found my way back up I was able to locate the headlights and GTFO. Now I'm sitting on more XP than I've ever had banked and want to cash it in at Galdin Quay but I'm too poor to do so. It's also night so I can't do any Vyv quests for easy money. So I'm stuck roaming Lestallum at night until dawn breaks and I can take advantage of Vyv's generousity. I'm almost at the point of saying fuck it and using the Expericast trick to get payback on those sewers. Almost.

I finished the story a while ago and had 200'000 EXP sitting around...went ahead and farmed 800'000 EXP more (took me about 2 hours I think?) and rested at the Hotel in Altissia with the 3.0 multiplier...Noctis was level 54 and the bros ranged from 48-50...It was enough to get me to max level...first task after that was to go and beat the crap out of some red giants...

At the last quest of Ch 5, Lv 19. The Ch 5 dungeon was a little rough since I was running out of healing items pretty quickly, and despite having decent weapons, I'm just taking a lot of damage.
Gonna play some JMV to get some stat boost accessories.
Yep, same thing happened to me. I ended up finishing the game without actually knowing WHY I was doing what I was doing and had to look it up later.

I took a break before starting chapter 12 and I found myself in a sewer dungeon doing a quest to get a regalia part... also going to find out how to open the door on the bottom where I suppose there is another weapon for noctis!
Very nice dungeon, labyrintich and fun. I just hate that I have to slow down in a couple of places when trying to climb up again from the bottom...

He wasn't being petty, he had a very valid point. Noctis is deep in depression but they still have alot of shit to do and Ignis has been crippled on his behalf.
Noctis is technically King now, he's supposed to be the head of morale and raising everyone up, but he has completely retreated into himself. Gladio is doing what he's supposed to do.

I found that quest hilarious because there's nothing in that dialogue that sounded out of place in a JRPG. And then it ended like a fucking commercial, i was dying.

bought alot of cup noodles sense i bought XV, but it was actually Brotherhood that did it.
In defense, you really can make them taste good as hell.

It came with the game on a separate bluray. Most people said that I need to watch this to understand the game so I did and I am so so glad I did.
Where did you farmed that amount of EXP that fast?

Have you seen the Brotherhood episodes? They should be up on youtube and you may as well as you've seen Kingsglaive. I'd say they're worth a watch to get some background on the lads and their relationship. I'm glad i watched them both tbh. Some say you should watch them after chp1 of the game as there's some form of minor relationship spoiler or something but i'm still on chapter 1 and haven't noticed anything yet but just a heads up in case.
There are some EXP boosting foods and magic and some beasties that are easily farmed later on in the game. I've been farming Cactuars in Chapter 1 as they're worth 5,000 exp each. I saved up a bunch and then stay at Galdin Bay hotel. I went from 1 to 13 to 27 then 35 doing that in between hunts and sidequests.

Ugh fuck the tailing mission in Fort vaullerey. It's not even that I dislike stealth, but the stealth mechanics in this game are like non existent and it seems completely arbitrary how you get spotted.
Atleast in the first one you could warp kill, but you cant even do that here.
