First PlayStation 5 console hands-on reveals mysterious nut

I know someone mentioned this before but it looks like there's two fans in it.

Its kindda lame that the most relevant news of the PS5 is a nut.
The console launch become a joke....and a really bad joke.
Meanwhile The Remaster collection of Wolfestein, Dishonored and Prey is coming to SeX.
Lame

Bethesda is kinda cringe with their endless remasters. I'm expecting them to announce Skyrim again.
Its a cheap and fast way to wring out some $$$ of old games. Everyone does it but noone is as shameless about it as Bethesda (not counting Nintendo ofcourse). Remastering last gen games? I'm getting too old for this shit.

Was hoping backwards compatibility would put a stop to it

Really amazing that this type of thing caught the attention of people.
Maybe this would not be a "News" if they showed

- Some of the UI
- A revamped PS Store?
- A proper AAA game running like Demons Souls
- Free look up on the console and not in a controlled environment
- How backward compatibility works
- Test of speed on different games
- Start Screen
- What "create" button is and how it works
- Explanation on expanding your SSD or how to attach a new one.

But Jim Ryan has everything under control
I also want to see all this plus:
-Next gen Remote Play improvements
-PS Now next gen plans
-Do BC games get savedata from PS4 save data cloud?
-Load times for both next gen native games (Demons, Morales, Godfall) and BC games, both for booting the games or to load a savedaa in other stage
-Hardware teardown

But for most players all these things are minor stuff they don't care about. It's enough for people to know it will have great looking exclusive games like Spider-Man, God of War, Horizon, Final Fantasy and so on plus big AAA multis looking better than in next gen like Call of Duty, Harry Potter, NBA2K, FIFA, AC, etc. Only with this, they sold out everywhere preorders for the console that will have the biggest production ever for launch, and very likely will outsell the best launch fiscal year ever for a console: the PS4 one (it sold ~7 millions from November to March, they are producing 10 million PS5s for this period).

P.S.: We already saw Demon's Souls, Miles Morales, Godfall, NBA2K and DMC5SE gameplay running on PS5. What I'd like is their loading times outside respawns and if the Demon's Souls loading times in the trailer were real or if the video was edited.

You seriously think that screws are example of good industrial design? If someone in Apple during Jobs times would come with something like that he would lost his job in seconds. There are dozens of other ways that could be designed without huge visible screws. That's also probably first consumer electronic device with allen screws I have ever saw. What the fuck did they come up with, that phillips screws are not strong enough?
Don't pop an embolism. Did some stray nut disrespect your family or something?

Visible nuts can be practical or an aesthetic choice. I don't really care what Apple does as I don't buy their products and in most cases don't like their designs.

You can see it in picture two. Also there was a cooling patent a while back showing a dual sided heat sink.

Maybe it's using something like that for cooling?

How is the connection working? Because with those massive frequencies, is not easy to do the wiring. Just asking, I missed that previously.

Totally agree, in fact...what Sony plans with PS now worries me. I mean, after 8 years of its announcement and still isn't available worldwide (/only in 18 countries)

At least today we got some look inside of the console and its good news.....I hope Sony doesn't lose it's momentum again

None of game streaming platforms is available worldwide, and won't be: they require to have servers close to your house to work decently, so it means they have to put a ton of servers to have a decent coverage for some countries.

In addition to this, their business model needs to change to make it profitable before scaling it up (maybe to have in addition to the subscription, the option of buying any game of the console -including new AAA games on their release date any and any other game not included in the subscription- to stream it like in Stadia mostly for people who doesn't have the console.).

Sony was brave when they went for this design. It's so awful.
