We almost got Rossi according to his agent.

I am very confident that the deal will go ahead. Giuseppe is keen to move to Juventus and negotiations between both clubs are going according to plan,"

but ITS OK guys.. at least he tweets in english!

Rossi wants more money then. Because I remember that he tweeted 'Champions League next season!!', or something like that.

But I don't blame him, I'd rather go to Juventus rather than stay at La Liga. It's a two horse race anyway.

Villareal can destroy the 95% teams of Serie A.

It must be moneyz, then.

Unfortunately Villarreal plays in La Liga, and it's hard to compete with, uh, Barca and Real. :p

A Juve fan was stabbed by ultras at the pre-season training camp

but ITS OK guys .. He was probably WITH keeping Amauri.

Yeah him and Sandro were a brick wall in defence that night. That's where the Napoli interest came from. But in a typical Spurs midfield he's lost that place to Sandro and Huddlestone.

What a run by spurs..thanks for embarrassing Inter :P you guys should keep all your players.

Ronaldinho is back in Brazil thanks to a sponsor too, you know.

It just seems really strange. I have never heard of this before. It's also strange that these news sites keep screaming the move is on when SAF keeps saying no.

Since Juve hasn't wont Calcio since 2003 if I can recall and they don't even play Europa League I don't know any benefits besides more money in his pockets.

I don't see where it is better to compete along with Juve than Villareal.

We won it in 2005 and 2006. I don't feel like posting all the quotes of the courts admitting we were innocent once again go look them up.

For the first time in 20 years we are not in europe and people are already starting to use it against us -_- last season was a major fuck up by everyone

Well, Rossi has always stated his interest of playing in Italy, but I don't see why he couldn't get on at Inter or Milan instead. AC love buying attacking players when they already have too many.

Me neither. He's on the best strikers nowadays.

I understand he's willing to play in Serie A, but not with Juve.

I'm another Liverpool fan and I'm hoping we can get back onto the top 4 this year. Need those awesome European nights at anfield again.

It's ok maybe he wanted at team that constantly shits on yours in the CL.

We'll qualify next season. Serie A is not a tough league.

Berlusconi's problems are supposed to be affecting Milan's transfer activity. Inter have Pazzini, Eto'o and Milito.

It always irks me when the term "wining the calcio" is used. Same deal as saying "wining the FIFA".
I always thought that winning the Serie A was called winning the "scudetto".
Am i wrong?

If it only was Juve who shits on us in CL... xDD

Oh the good times, maybe they'll be back if don't get robbed anymore against Barça and Unicef Conspiracy.

Yeah, It's worng to name it Calcio, but it's very common here in Spain.

You are correct. He basically said 'won football'.

Further solidifying his ignorance in a league he probably barely watches.

You're right but he's obviously clueless.

Milito scored 5 goals last season. I think they're probably looking for a replacement.

dp sorry.

sad how real madrid fans turned up to be. Keep clinging to that my friend.

anyway..

2002/03 CL 1/2 final Juventus - Real Madrid 3:1 (2:0)
2004/05 CL 1/8 Final Juventus - Real Madrid 2:0 (0:0)
2008/09 CL Group stage Juventus - Real Madrid 2:1 (1:0)
2008/09 CL Group stage Real Madrid - Juventus 0:2 (0:1)

That's the most recent. There's more.

juve has a much better shot @ winning the serie A than villareal has winning la liga

juve can compete much better financially with inter and milan than villareal can with barca and madrid

you would trade all those wins for 1998 cl final win, don't deny it!

Mayor: Cesc 'kidnapped' by Arsenal

Fabregas, 24, has made no secret of his wish to return one day to the club he left as a 16-year-old in 2003 but has stopped short of publicly demanding a transfer.

"We want him to come right away, he is experiencing a kidnapping," Estanislau Fors i Garcia, the mayor of Catalan town Arenys de Mar where Fabregas grew up, was quoted as saying in Barcelona-based daily Sport.

"If the English are so honourable they should behave properly," he added.
"He (Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger) has to stop clowning around because it's disorienting for all of us."

Fabregas, who is Arsenal's captain, is valued at around £40 million, with Barcelona willing to pay around £10m short of that.

Will this fucking bullshit ever end??? I swear if I was Cesc, I would tell Barca to fuck off at this point. Why would anyone want to play for these clowns?

Hey Smeghead ! Get your name in the OP :D

Spanish Wrath is ruining the Madridistas image. Spank him :P

..yes :P It was painful losing two CL finals in a row.

He is one of them (Clowns) himself, you know.

I don't care. He doesn't talk about it all the time like everyone else does. I agree with Spanish Wrath, he either needs to say he's staying and do so, or Barca needs to come out and make a final offer this summer. Someone needs to say something definitively on the situation and end it at least until next summer. I mean seriously, the fucking mayor of some small ass town is talking about it now?

Barca's sense of entitlement continues to astonish.

I'd love to see them get trashed this year. Lose in the group stages of the CL, come in 3rd or 4th in the league. Guarantee you they wouldn't come back with some BS 40 million bid.

can't see that happening

what do you think is a fair bid for fab? 50m?

In this market it is hard to value as it seems most players all over the place in value, but I believe if Fab stays and has a good season, I think between 45 and 50 million. I just don't want to see him go and only play 20 or 25 games, coming off the bench a lot. It seems like a real waste, and would rather him stay with us until Barca actually need him, and not just because he's a great player who wants to play there.
