Yes, because I wasn't judging his quality as much as his price. The site has a good track record, for instance they were spot on for Marin or Podolski. I've never noticed them being off by more than 2-3m (when it comes to MV before a transfer).
As I said, I feel like you could've bought internationally proven players for that kind of money (or slightly more).

It's already been said that the whole 'gentleman's agreement' was played up more than it should have been. If the player went on the market, there was nothing stopping Rodgers going for him, and Allen was wanted by more than just Liverpool. Not to mention we'll be doing Swansea lots of favours for next season by giving them that cash, and potentially throwing them some of our top youngsters on loan. I'd love to see us give them Suso for a season.

Need to stop talking about Allen like he's a Liverpool player though, could be complete bullshit.

Cheers for the advice.

I'll mull it over, the main weak link in the midfield is obviously Mikel but he was only 4.5m. Defence I thought with AVB coming in and both those Spurs FB's doing well last season too they should bring in some points.

Clichy tempts me instead of Assou-Ekotto and would give me another 0.5m to spend but it doesn't really help anywhere :\ hard to know what to do.

Mikel is my biggest weak link in the midfield as he's not guaranteed to start games but at 4.5m he was dirt cheap.

I don't think he is, but I also didn't think someone like Oxlade-Chamberlain was worth 12m either (especially given gaping holes in Arsenal's squad), so if it works out... more power to them. certainly can't be a downgrade from Liverpool's current options.

Whether they overpay or not, Allen will enable Liverpool to play the way Rodgers wants them to. He's a very important signing in that respect. I doubt the manager wants Adam picking the ball up from the back four and launching it forward every time.

Sess did get more points with 161 but Allen did well with 117 at Swansea and I'd imagine would do better at Liverpool.

Very good team, but I'm not sure Mikel will get many points. On the other hand, they are playing two games.

Time to watched the leaked trailers now, pretty psyched that Nolan is involved, a serious Superman film would be excellent.

Does anyone here get little brown freckles on their cheeks after sweating? They're like flecks of dirt, and they rub off, but I get little patches on the top of my cheekbones after I've been sweating. They're barely noticeable and are so tiny they look like tiny flecks of dirt. It's so strange, googling doesn't even give me the usual cancer responses.

Nevermind, found people with a similar problem, looks like it's fairly harmless.

They will have a revision soon, it's only been made for the BL players so far so I hope they correct it by then. However there is always a fictional 3y contract in mind and I'm sure he could move for 25-30m so it's not outrageously off, but still too much.
You can actually participate MV determination process as there is a thread for every player, but the final decision is up to a few mods/etc. There is an .it version too, btw.

Just watched LFC training 11-a-side match. Subbing to LFCTV has been worth it. Jonjo looked good and Suso looked ok. But other than that, it was mostly passing the ball to the other team, lol.

Brandan on Andy Carroll:
