Milan at their peak is arguably the greatest team of all-time. Now they're reduced to goons like Mexes, Muntari, and possibly Fred. They're literally the footballing equivalent of Konami or Square-Enix in how far they have fallen off. It's so depressing

Seriously though, we played pretty well. It has been interesting how much we have improved as the preseason has developed. If Inzaghi can keep making the team gel like this, we could be surprisingly decent this year.

We still need a prima punta (Pazzini just not good enough as sole striker) and a fucking midfielder though. With a couple more signings and without any European obligations I think we could challenge for third place.

I was pleased with what I saw. And Diego's reaction on that off side shoot was splendid. He's the gk we needed.

His natural position is LW, but he's good with his right foot too. Circumstances when he came to Madrid left him playing RW and he was really good too. Him as a CM-winger hybrid is a stroke of genius from Ancelotti, since I never imagined him performing well in that position. You would need a Modric and an Alonso to pull it off tho, so he should not play as CM at United.

The only thing United should worry about is injuries. He just had his first injury free season at Madrid.
