...hate me...
Dutchies, once a dutch couple brought me over a stack of Stroopwafel. Oh god. So good, m8s. I've been able to find them everywhere since, though. Thankfully.

For Halloween I mainly have bought a bag of Dumle.

Amazing. If you ever come across this, just buy it and thank me later.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
If you're at home you'll win.

If you're away you'll draw.

We'll be lucky to get a draw tomorrow, Newcastle are bossing, while we stutter.

You should beat Newcastle, they might have won two big games but we had an Ameobi-induced aneurysm and City just didn't care about the game.

You just have to match their work rate, Obertan is in their team for fuck's sake.

Falcao is dead, van Ghaleon was rewarded with an RVP equalizer and has now buried Rumbo. another Roo Red card is his only chance to be resurrected.

Guessing it's Rooney and RVP up front on sunday with Mata or Januzaj behind.

This is amazing

- Front page of today’s edition of Marca; this is Caparrós, the manager of Granada (Granada host Real Madrid in La Liga tomorrow)......

"I only ask that they [Real Madrid] don’t roll us over.”

- His reaction:

At the start of his pre-match press conference, tearing up the front page as he spoke, Caparrós offered his thoughts about the misleading headline that Marca had chosen to publish, seeking to set the record straight.

I’d like to make a comment. Experience tells me not to read the papers, nor listen to anything, but obviously when there’s something like this, in which the only thing they’ve not put, is ‘all I ask God!’”

“Do any of you honestly believe I would make declarations like that? Everyone who knows me, also knows that I wouldn’t even gift a game to my father, bless his soul and is now in heaven, the person I loved the most.”

“I’ve had many years in football and these kind of [made up] headlines really piss me off! How am I expected to face the players in the locker room, if they think I’ve said something like that? What are the fans supposed to think? As if this game wasn’t hard enough, now there’s something like this. There’s thousands of headlines for Real Madrid [they could have used] that aren’t the manager of Granada.”

I personally think Liverpool will beat us this weekend. We've had a decent mini run but let's not get too carried away here. Unless of course we start Sammy Ameobi and Cristiano Rolando. Then Liverpool might as well just forfeit.

Fucking Madrid papers are a joke.

Not only do they want Madrid to keep stealing money from the smaller clubs, they also do off field shit like that to make sure that €50,000 team can't beat their all stars funded by the government.

I love how the Dortmund officials keep crying about Reus.

Last week the Gladbach manager said this: "We didnt cry either when Dortmund bought Reus from us."

As soon as the winter market window creaks open, Chelsea might very well make a move on Gerard Piqué. The London club is impressed with the performances that the Barça player has been showing this season and, according to the Daily Star, would be willing to fork out €30 million to see him do the same at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are looking for a top-drawer replacement for John Terry and Piqué seems to be the man for the job. Apart from the money, Mourinho would be hoping to convince the player to jump ship with the added attraction of playing alongside his great friend Cesc Fàbregas, who signed for the club this summer.

When Dortmund stole him from Gladbach, all you heard was "wow Dortmund will be strong"

Once Reus leaves to join Bayern, everyone will cry about Fcb stealing him.

Pathetic.

Another good article by Neville on how defending has changed

'Screening players' have not offset these fundamental changes to the way defences work. A Patrick Vieira of 10 years ago is now a Mikel Arteta. A Roy Keane is now a Daley Blind. And a Bryan Robson for England is now a Jack Wilshere.

It's not the fault of the players. Wingers are full-backs, centre backs are central midfielders, goalkeepers are sweepers, No 10s are central midfielders and wingers are centre-forwards. You're talking about a completely different game.

I look at some teams and feel: they don't know how to defend. They struggle with crosses, they don't deal with set-pieces, they don't know how to work one on one. They have a weak understanding of the game. When I look at players now we're comparing apples and pears.

We always interpret "philosophy" as the attacking style. We never read into that the defensive approach. Sergio Aguero scores goals where he cuts inside and scores with his right foot. I think: why did the defender not show him his left foot? Sometimes the basic attention to defending is not there.

"Our way of playing is excellent for them as we defend 40 metres in front of Manuel Neuer."-Guardiola on Dortmund

"But I won't change my tactics. I have always played my teams very far forward ever since my first day at Barcelona B."-Guardiola (Goal)

Dortmund will win 3:1. Dem counter attacks.

You will win.
Hoping for a decent result though.
Our defense is way too shaky, maybe our offensive can compensate that a bit.

Everton report record profit of £28.2m for 2013-14

They were helped by a significant increase in broadcast revenue from the first season of a three-year Premier League television deal with Sky and BT Sport, which began in 2013.
It rose from £55.7m to £88.5m - a figure higher than Everton's entire turnover for the previous year.
The club made a profit of £28.2m profit on player trading, helped by the sale of midfielder Marouane Fellaini to Manchester United for £27.5m in September 2013, as well as deals to sell Victor Anichebe to West Brom at the same time and fellow striker Nikica Jelavic to Hull City in January 2014.
Sponsorship, advertising and merchandising revenue increased slightly, while gate receipts went up along with attendances at Everton finished fifth in the Premier League and reached the FA Cup quarter-finals.
But staff costs also went up - largely as a result of squad strengthening - by 10%, from £63m to £69.3m.
The £28m club-record signing of striker Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea is not included in the latest accounts, as he was not brought in until July this year.
That deal, along with new contracts for manager Roberto Martinez, midfielder Ross Barkley and defenders Seamus Coleman and John Stones, will be recorded in the 2014-15 accounts.
Chief executive Robert Elstone said: "Our financial results highlight growing revenues, costs remaining under control and debt reducing.
"When we combine that solid financial base with a playing squad that continues to improve and increase in value, we have every right to be confident and positive on future prospects."

Agreed. good player. Zivkovic isn't a striker though.

I just tuned in. Haven't seen much of Zivkovic sadly since they hardly broadcast the second team.

Nice!

Looking forward to their new album already.

They are coming to London, Leeds and Manchester and Leeds next month. but no Birmingham :(

They just released the new EP (28 october) which features this song and three more songs. One of my favourite songs of them still isn't on any record sadly, Great Blue Sky. They played it at the Ace Hotel too.

I'll be seeing them later this month, looking forward to it.

He's either a numer 10 or a winger, but not a striker.

We have Kishna, Fischer and El Ghazi on the wings now. Don't think we'll see Zivkovic playing there. At Groningen he's been a number 9 as far as I know and that's also what we bought him for. Oh well, at least we Milik to sit on the bench. Siggy is likely to start tomorrow.

Siggy is like Marcus Berg, but a little bit better.
