Demon's was the best game of the last generation! Dark Souls was great but not on the same level even though the connected world was awesome. It lost this completly new feeling, the dangerous, the suspense wasn't as good as in Demon's.

Dark Souls 2 however was just more of the same without the same effort put in.

Pls. Even the 2 seconds of new footage showed a huge upgrade in visuals than compared to SF4. Look at Ryus model and how much more detailed it is, muscle animation, shaders, lighting, texture resolution, etc.

Their latest financial report revealed some profit, so I doubt they are in problems. They just cut the huge funding costs on internal projects, meaning AAA game development at limited budget and only for IPs that sold more than 2 million units with their latest entry.

I neither see the industry dying nor a problem with a game going exclusive on consoles at this point where we have a 2.3:1 ratio in installed base of hardware.
