In 3 years when Lemar's a world class player playing for a top club we're gonna be those assholes that'll be like "yeah almost signed him but we preferred putting 40m on a 24 yo English prospect". This guy is pure class on and off the ball.

He was also great against England, though in a friendly, ones of the best players for Monaco which won ligue 1 and got into Semis on CL. Plus 21 years old, only.

France is looking really scary.

he's clearly a genuine talent and has loads of potential, but france could have played obertan and he'd look like a worldbeater this evening

He wouldn't be guaranteed first team football here at the minute as his best positions are already taken by the likes of Mane, Coutinho & Salah. Lallana, Hendo & Ox are all CM's.

That's the worst par of all this. If he already was vocal about leaving Arsenal is because Wenger & Co. already told him "ok, you can go if that's what you want".

If it's true that Alexis will have to stay, Arsenal is basically toying with him. That's not cool 8/

And Lemar is better on the center of the pitch than on the wings. Would have him start ahead of Lallana in a heartbeat, specially since he's so often injured anyway.

It's just stupid keeping him.

Short of actually refusing to play, has anybody here ever seen a player who visibly wants to be at a club less than Sanchez wants to be at Arsenal?

Arsenal are rudderless, directionless and spineless under this team and keeping a clearly pissed off and unhappy Sanchez fits in about as well with that as you'd expect. Genuinely think top 6 might be a big ask.

Yup, it's really shitty. Couldn't be more obvious he didn't want to stay there & wants to play in the CL.

Wonder how he'll manage his frustration on & off the pitch.

Maybe he should have called his replacements all summer :)

We’ll see if he turns up and plays or is a shame. I’m sure Pep would be happy to see a shit professional join his team.
