I don't see what's so monumental about Verstappen losing to his teammate by 0.4 seconds. That's about as well as Kvyat did against Sainz.

The reactions are a little skewed because Verstappen was ahead of Ricciardo in Q1 and Q2. So people were already ready to write some big stories about the Wonderboy.

Now it was "just" a good performance for the first Q in a new team.
