Can't wait for Ferrari to make the wrong tyre call.
Why even start like this just delay the race
For sure.I suspect if this were not Monaco, they would have started normally.
This will help clear water if nothing else

I do wish they'd add a rules provision for stars that would otherwise be started behind the SC. Delay by 10 minutes as the keep scouting the track. After a half hour, whatever, but that would be long enough for running water to drain off of most tracks after it's stopped raining.Why even start like this just delay the race
I look forward to the day they do the races in the simulator because a real race is too dangerous.
This will hit the two hour time limit for sure.I doubt this race will be 78 laps long
Why do they always seem to leave the SC out for longer than it needs to be? Always.

Real cars, but remote controlled, is about the best we can hope for :c

For sure.
The rain does not even look that bad.
It could be worse.
We could have the Mercedes running off in the distance on a regular track.
Wonder this myself, if the full wet goes on, the race is stopped. They'll go a few laps and be straight onto the inter. Or as usually happens, they go onto inter before the safety even pulls offRemember when F1 cars used to race in the wet. Seriously whats the point in having a wet compound if every time it rains they red flag it or bring a safety car out.
@adamcooperF1
Watching at Rascasse, someone just dumped a tear-off and it's lying crumpled in the middle of the track! Don't tell the FIA...
But a Mercedes IS running off into the distance...
Embarassing. May as well start pitting to intermediates.
Meanwhile at the 24hrs of the Green Hell drivers were driving with more standing water, night and fog. Grow some balls little boys.
