Almost makes that look real. The way the color gets faded because of the blinding light. Not some crap white sticker they slap on your screen to not let you see anything.

I like the filtered god-rays (oddly highlighted by the color-range of some of the gifs) coming through mist on the treelines in some clips I've seen. It's a great looking environmental effect.

btw did you guys notice how the number indicator above the cars, left side it changes color according to place? i think it goes gold for 1-4, silver 5-7, bronze 8-10 or something.
now how cool would it be if there was a mode where this indicator would light-up, not according to your place in the race, but lets say according to the number and severity of bumps you did to your opponents,
going green-yellow-red-disqualified or something...
lets call that "clean race mode" or whatever. would you guys like something like that?

Anyone still think we will only have 16 player online now they've shown 16 player AI races?
its not that simple as to say "15 less ai for cars = 8 more cars drawn"
but I wanna say yes I like this thread because monday = doom/delayed , then wednesday = 16 cars spa 1080/60? pff ok, bring on 24!!
Hmm if they're gonna increase the grid count for online multiplayer, they could do the same for career provided you're connected to the cloud?

Not sure but Forza 4 was 8 AI cars, 16 player online IIRC.
So now we've seen Forza 5 is 16 AI cars, it's within the realms of possibility that we get 20/24 player online, especially now they're using dedicated servers.
Well yeah, they could use those same servers to power the AI for career races can't they, potentially increase the number of AI cars?
Edit: Scratch that....i'd imagine things like collision detection, physics are latency sensitive so can't risk compromising on those by having it run off the cloud

NM...canceling order. I would love a LE limited to 3,000 WITH the game for $120-$140. Not for $200 though...geez.
I'm still debating on the Paddock Edition. I like the hoodies and keychain and with dollar-euro change, it could be nice. The shipping is what slows me down, 86$ on top of the price is insane to ship it to Europe. Why can't they have a slower, less expensive option, it's not like we'll be ordering the game from there so I couldn't care less if I received those extras after launch...

What are your guys' plans for a wheel setup? The Thrustmaster one seems solid (I tried it at PAX and liked it), with the caveat that it lacks an H-shifter (only flappy paddles). However, it likely won't work on PC until the Xbox One controller PC drivers are released (MSFT has confirmed they are coming, just not when...). Is there another one I'm missing? Is there a way the old Xbox 360 wireless speed wheel will work? (I liked that thing) What're you all doing in this regard?
