In the below video Thrustmaster have confirmed that a H-Shifter as well as a Pedal setup with Clutch will be coming in the future, so that's something to keep an eye on.

There is also a Madcatz wheel due out for Xbox One, but they've yet to announce a H-Shifter add-on.
There's no backwards compatibility for the Xbox 360 wireless speed wheel with Xbox One.

Any news on PC compatibility? I've emailed their support and was unable to get a meaningful response (it wasn't a 'no' though...). Judging by how they support their current 360 wheels on PC (their site claims you just install standard 360 controller drivers), I expect it will work on PC as soon as One controller drivers are released by MSFT.

We should be hearing about Season Pass/DLC shenanigans pretty soon-ish I would've thought...
its a must (track dlc). bundle them with sought after cars to increase demand. and profits. i dont care. just do it. it will extend the life of the game immensely.
PGR! Turn10 could do make it so easy on themselves if they just followed Bizarre's method of offering DLC. Paris Booster Pack and Long Beach were freaking great! I got a load of fun out of that content.

that was for pgr2? with none offered in pgr 3 or 4? maybe not the best example of how to offer track dlc...
t10 seemed to do really well with car packs for forza 4 at 560 allards ($7). give me a car pack AND a track for $15. i'd bite - and i don't buy car packs! i hope they at least test the waters.

Unfortunately, I don't believe it's going to be that easy. These new wheels are likely to be XID-only devices, which means they'll need to have specific support on a software level for them to work correctly (force feedback). Less of a problem on an XO port, but PC sims use Directinput across the board. I can't see the needle moving one mm over just a couple of wheels that are essentially made for the Xbox. Maybe someone will make a wrapper or something, but it's likely to be less than ideal.

Yeah, PGR2. That game already had a ton of track content that I loved, so Paris and Long Beach were just icing, but the added content was great! I don't recall buying any car packs for Forza 4. So yeah, DLC content should be cars AND tracks! BTW, Turn10, add Brands Hatch to your DLC list. I loved that track in Race Pro. It has a great layout with some deceptively hard corners to navigate.

You know what, call me part of the problem, but I don't give a fuck: I will say right now that I will buy any Porsche DLC, regardless of cost and without hesitation.
As much as I despise the current situation with EA, Porsche is simply too important a manufacturer, with too many iconic models for Forza to be without. So Dan, do what you need to do. Make whatever deals need to be made, however shady and potentially suspect. I don't care. Say you did it for the fans, (again), and I'll have your back.
You hear me? Let principles be damned, and integrity get stuffed. Bring Porsche back in FM5 and I'll vote with my wallet on day one.

First off it's MS who makes those decisions, and second hoping the franchise dies resulting in 100s of lost jobs is being an incredible asshole.

Yeah because people having to uproot their famlies and lives is always such an easy thing to do. Also Turn10 is one of the more stable game studios, where you don't here of mass layoffs after they ship their games, so why you would hope for the people working there to move onto less secure jobs is mind boggling.
Maybe you haven't noticed it, but I'm fucking bitter.

I was going to buy a new wheel, but then I realized that I have spent $800+ already and had to replace the front windshield on my car to the tune of $457. Common sense took over and I put my wallet down.
It's so good to finally see some positivity in this thread. I'm sure Turn 10 had their reasons for taking their time in releasing footage like this but it should've happened sooner nevertheless.
