So how does the club thing work? Is there a leader and that leader has to send invites? Or is it public and you just send a join request?

A lot is covered in the OP, but the in-game club will have people who can ok requests to add once it's released, but details aren't as clear because we don't have the game yet. At the moment, we're getting together the spreadsheet of players for the NeoGAF team, which is what the formatting in the OP is for.

Ok, just curious if they had mentioned how the club hierarchy(if there is one) worked.

Edit: Just noticed that I didn't make it clear, my question was completely about how it worked in-game.
