Vacation ending, going back to work monday.
I'm proud to have broken my record of neglecting my hygiene.
I went 12 days without a shower.
I ran my finger on my taint and it smelled like salt & vinegar chips.

Recipe, plz.

Layer potato and tomato slices alternately in a baking dish. Cut garlic into small pieces and sprinkle it over. Mix a sauce from milk, cream or even mascarpone (approx. 500 ml / 17oz) and refine with herbs. I used oregano, thyme, rosemary, paprika, pepper and salt. Loads of salt because of the potatoes. Vegetable broth powder is also good. Pour over the potatoes, cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven at 200°C / 400°F for 45 minutes. Make a mixture of grated Parmesan and breadcrumbs. Knead well. After 45 minutes, take off the aluminum foil and check the hardness of the potato. Spread the Parmesan mixture evenly and bake again for 10-20 minutes.

I'd like to thank Con_Z_ǝdʇ Con_Z_ǝdʇ for posting his fancy potato gratin with a special parmesan crust and inspiring me to make my own potato gratin for dinner last might.

Without that I would not have noticed my potatoes rotting for a few more days. I bought those spuds two weeks ago.

That reminds me, I need a mandoline slicer for my potatoes. 🥔

How did it taste? Where is the picture!

Too much rotten potato juice was on the remaining potatoes. No gratin was made due to ick factor. Potatoes went into the food waste bin.

I'll be making later this week though after I get new potatoes. Picture then.
