First time as jason is really overwhelming lol
I didn't kill anyone for like the first 15 minutes. In fact, they were toying with me pretty badly. Didn't help that they were all kids on the mic trash talking. Only way i was able to turn the tide is when my rage kicked in and i smashed through a cabin door where 3 of them were hanging out and they weren't prepared for it and it totally threw them off.

A trap won't kill you unless you're hurt, but it alerts you when someone steps in it so you can quickly have those objectives covered.

Yep. Those little audio cues of them filling up the car or starting the boat, and hearing your trap go off are lifesavers. I'm always frugal with my teleport for stuff like that, I try to shift more than I teleport.

Stupid question. Can you choose what kill to do when you grab someone? Or is it randomized.

My goal is simply to get them before they get flare guns and pocket knives. I generally kill most if not all of them by ignoring the objectives Til my third warp.
You can choose. You can buy more and choose from those. Up to 4.
But yes Jeremy, I've done what you do, and straight murked 1 or 2 counselors 1-2 minutes in the game. Lol. Even managed to do so after teleporting to the phone, then teleporting on the street of the main cabin. I think I do it quick enough to the point counselors cant search the house thoroughly.
You choose but you have to make sure you have the kills equipped before hand. Can equip 4

Long story short Jason attacked us. They knew about the boat so I told them to meet me there fully knowing Jason could hear. I felt bad that I ran to the car knowing Jason probably teleported near the boat, and escaped alone lol.
Got some hate for that one.

Certain executions require more room than others. So for example the default choke can be done pretty much anywhere and instantly the moment you grab soemone. Other executions with more movements require you to walk the counselor to a spot where it's empty. Trees/fences/rocks whatever you can think of can sometimes deny an execution from activating.

It's to the point that I don't even want to be Jason unless I'm host. I've found that hosts get pissy and leave when they have to be counselors.

I've noticed that searching for a match takes longer if you have your preferences set to be Jason.
In defense of Jason X if you see it as a comedy film you'll have lots of laughs by the cheesy acting and some of the deaths are actually pretty good. The film never took itself seriously so its hard for me to be too harsh on it.

After they reverted the patch I now can't even get passed the "Press Start" screen. Just shows me a disk at the top and the game freezes. Which scares me a bit since I know they were trying to change the saved data to take up less space. And I played a couple of games on the new patch and now it won't load anything. Grrrrrrr

I Just had an awesome match lol. Full room we're all working together to get the stuff for the four seater. Four of us go into the same house and get trapped in the back, but we all had weapons and firecrackers. One of us got grabbed, but we release that person and all run out saying split up and find the rest of the stuff for the car. I immediately start hearing people get choked out and within literally 3 mins Jason has killed 6/7. So I'm the last one left and I'm not finding anymore car parts. Go into a cabin and find the motor for the boat so I guess I'm leaving by boat even though I'm on the other side of the map. So I hit every cabin on my way to the boat and barricade every door and putting traps in front and opening all the windows for fast escape routes.
Manage to get to the boat and put the part on and now I need gas. Im cutting through the woods and I see Jason bashing doors to get into cabins to look for me lol. I find a cabin I didn't hit yet that literally right behind the one he's trying to get in and find a trap and arm it and barricade the door. Go to the back of the cabin and there's the gas can. So I stay away from the cabins while Jason is bashing doors in and get to the boat with the gas and drive off without him ever seeing me. Wish I had that recorded it was flawless lol. Moral of the story barricade all doors and open windows early in the game.
When I'm Jason I make sure to break windows so counselors cant use them to escape without getting hurt...

Having a difficult time getting into a game. Been online for 2 hours and maybe​ I've played. 4 games. Even when I do "connect" I get kicked right away from the host.
I am starting to wonder if they can even fix this mess with the servers.

Been watching Cryaotic's RP streams and they have had me crying with laughter. The game is really fun to watch with a good spirited group.

ROFLMAO. That's the stuff that makes the game so fun. The RP stuff you can do while playing is off the charts. Bikeman's streams again are a great example. I just love when he gets players to make deals to live and then he double crosses them by getting others to make deals where they'll kill them for him. Some of his best ones are where he's going around "representing" comcast and destroying electrical boxes etc. Then of course he plays the bimbo counselor amazingly well too. If people get into characters it just takes the game to a whole new level and makes for some great laughs.

Trap at the fuse box. I tried to initiate the repair but it bugged out because I was on the trap and in game. I'm frozen at the f'n fuse box.

Damn that sucks to hear. I'm watching people play on Twitch but they're all playing on PC and having far less issues now it seems.

Another few good Gaf matches. Feels damn near impossible to win as the lone survivor and trying to just waste time.
After being killed, get a connection timeout error that kicked me out of the match. So for those who I was playing with (IwillKILLurGOD), thats the reason for the unexpected disappearance.

Spent most of the afternoon playing this game today. It started with me and a friend, but we ran into a group of people using headsets, and it was such a good group we ended up friending them and staying with them from like 4:30-11:30.
The game is indescribably more amazing when you get a full group of people that use headsets and mostly understand how to play the game.
Like seriously, I had some fun with it on my own and with one friend, but with a full group it might be one of my favorite multiplayer games in a while.
