[...]Reminds me of the first time listening to J-Live All of the Above album. At first I was like ugh it's ok...but as time progress it became of my favorite albums of all time.[...]
Gave it a listen, thanks! Really smooth production. Dude fooled me into thinking Posdnuos was rapping a few times, though, haha.

Rodeo, man. Dope as hell.

Glad you enjoyed it. Shame his projects afterwards were ok at best. That album and The Best Part are his best pieces of work.

Now for Rodeo...checking it out later to see the hype.

On another note, I'm busy bumping some Amerie in the morning and it hit me, we haven't had a summer banger in a while :(. Frankie Ocean was suppose to give us that summer time feel man.

For the Tinashe fans here; Tinashe - Joyride Trailer. Her 2nd album is officially due this fall.

"I can't be ignored," says Tinashe in the new preview for her sophomore album Joyride, due this fall. The desert-set trailer for the record is as striking as the music itself, a collection of powerful and diverse sounds that showcase a newfound confidence from the rising R&B star whose singles from 2014's Aquarius — "2 On" and "All Hands on Deck" — took over the clubs and the radio while even making a fan out of Kanye West.

On A Wave was an unfinished Drake & Tinashe Collab that is highly possible on being on this album.

After a revisit to Pinata', it's safe to say that the hype for the album was real and I was sleeping on this album because of other albums in my rotation. Reminds me of the first time listening to J-Live All of the Above album. At first I was like ugh it's ok...but as time progress it became of my favorite albums of all time. No lie, the first few tracks didn't draw me in but during the middle of the album...shit started making sense. The skits threw me off a bit, but I had to remind myself that it was still a Madlib album.

Overall, yall were right on the dogpile and I'm gradually take my L.

However, Jay Rock is still the better rapper when it comes down to gangsta shit.
Better than who? Freddie Gibbs? You're fucking nuts
