It might be because it kinda sucks. I dont know if he ever improved,but he wasnt the greatest rapper. Plus that song is super heavy handed.
Musically and lyrically it kinda sucks. It is about as subtle as a brick to the face.
I dont understand the Jay-Z comment, but sure.
Its the quintessential "hey bro I heard you like rap music. Well heres some real shit." Song. Reminds me of high school.
