There was one fight I revived him around 20 times. He kept running into the open and just standing there. When he isn’t doing that he is normally standing around in the area before where the fight is doing nothing.

Anyone want to run the co-op campaign? I'm playing on PC, but been doing cross play with my Pops, he's not gonna be able to play for a minute. Around Act 2 towards the end.

Its faster paced and im having fun (despite being put on losing teams...)
My biggest gripe with 4 was that felt too samey to 3. This feels more fluid and definitely has an emphasis on speed. Like of you combined the speed and movement of judgement but with the gunplay of gears 2/3/4.
Its very solid and a very pleasant improvement (when the servers work, that is.)
Its also nice that we spawn with flashbangs instead of smoke grenades.

I just did a few sections where my AI is no where near the fight. Then when I beat the fight by myself and get to the next door he magically teleports in to help me open it.

Biggest improvement is weapon balance. Gears 4 was a trash shotgun fest and I hated using same weapon bcus it was OP and everyone used it bcus of its advantage.

Yeah it is. I kept spraying the floor with bullets - creating a circle of graves for the swarm.Fighting on big sheets of ice is fun

In comparison for me its felt faster. Asylum is pretty compact and straight into the action for a mode like domination for example. And the TTK for many weapons have improved.

I forgot the name of it but that feature was brought over to the riftworm mp/horde level. It was pretty amusing killing enemies by breaking the ice beneath and letting them freeze if they werent smart enough to run out of the water

Ive been playing a lot of multiplayer and I gotta give coalition credit for one very important thing, something that has been an issue since gears 1:
They finally fixed preferred characters. (IE: when you enter a match half-way through you’ll start as your selected character. In all of the older games your selected character was often replaced by a random character with your selection “playable next match” if you you joined mid-game.)

I hated all the previous Gears online modes. Just couldn’t play them at all, but I feel like the addition of Arcade Vs really helps weed out the tryhards and makes it a more enjoyable experience for the more casual player.
I’m sure if I ever attempted to go into ranked all that goodwill would be gone.

Just finished Act 1. That was a pretty solid Act if you ask me.
I wished they reduced the components needed for upgrading Jack and locked the components behind small puzzles or something. I guess it doesnt really fit the game but right now it feels a bit off with these things laying around everywhere.

Encountered a few bugs yesterday in campaign, the game gets glitchy as fuck when the servers are acting up, no idea why they would have single player story need a network connection. If the servers are hiccuping enemies will teleport, set piece enemies will often not appear, PC can teleport, doors won't open and so on.
Only happened twice yesterday but it was REALLY annoying

the more I think of the ending death of either JD or Del the more i hate it. Seems like such a shitty way to kill off a main character. Just completely out of nowhere with no buildup.
I wonder if they will do something with the death and make either one a swarm general you have to fight in gears 6
