I've watched some reviews and I still don't feel it. None of the reviews even explain the gameplay loop. Just say open world.
But I did loved 2nd son
I can see how that could turn some people bitter lolWhen Sony's boot-stomping their console of choice to the ground for 7 years now, what do you expect?
It sounds similar to Infamous SS.
Clear Mongol outposts. Story quests. Side quests. Find shrines and landmarks. Compose Haiku's (like the spray paint thing). Typical open world gameplay loop.
I love hearing that. I can see this game elevating Sucker Punch to the next levelSame here. Watching the Laymen gaming video and hearing them compare the combat to Souls favorably and I believe 1-2 of them said GOTY and possibly GOTG, makes me pretty hyped!
GOTY or GOTG? Were they drunk? Solid game for sure, but miles away from that.Same here. Watching the Laymen gaming video and hearing them compare the combat to Souls favorably and I believe 1-2 of them said GOTY and possibly GOTG, makes me pretty hyped!

A GOTY contender for sure, but it doesn't even have a 1% chance of winning the most awards this year. Not with Cyberpunk and TLOU2.GOTG they never said, they said it was one of the best experiences they had in a while and one of the best open world games they ever played but they never said or even hinted to GOTG.
GOTY however this is definitely a contender imo, it seems like a very strong open world title, with intuitive combat, immersive world design, a compelling enough narrative and a fresh take on some of the open world tropes.
I can see that especially if you're a fan of those old Japanese martial arts films that's why it might end up my GOTYGOTY or GOTG? Were they drunk? Solid game for sure, but miles away from that.
they really compare a batman type of combat with souls combat?Same here. Watching the Laymen gaming video and hearing them compare the combat to Souls favorably and I believe 1-2 of them said GOTY and possibly GOTG, makes me pretty hyped!
Great weather and storm effects make a game at least 10% better to meback box
Some quests are only available when you've finished the main story.

Time to play days gone my dude (or mad max who still has the best thunder storm of this gen)Great weather and storm effects make a game at least 10% better to me
That explains it, i didn't know it was about personal taste only. MY GOTG is Astro Bot.The dude in the middle, I think it was Thicboi, said he liked it more than Bloodborne. A lot of people including me may have that as their GOTG.
they really compare a batman type of combat with souls combat?
Lol i'm never gonna trust these dudes.
I don't think they said it felt like it but they said they enjoyed it as much or more. When Thiccboi said this is about as good as combat can feel in a game, the Skillup guy kind if made a reaction in agreement. At around 15 min in they talk about it.
Mad max is underrated. It may be a bit empty but it's one of the most consistent gameworlds out there.Time to play days gone my dude (or mad max who still has the best thunder storm of this gen)
Mad Max is the definition of a hidden-gem. Punchy combat, great driving mechanics, amazing desert vistas. Not too long, not too short. Just perfect.Mad max is underrated. It may be a bit empty but it's one of the most consistent gameworlds out there.

Days Gone is so criminally underated. I bought it at launch but got busy with work and had to put it on the backburner, but I'm playing through it now and I can't stop. Totally has me hooked.Time to play days gone my dude (or mad max who still has the best thunder storm of this gen)

Can you elaborate what you want to know exactly?I've watched some reviews and I still don't feel it. None of the reviews even explain the gameplay loop. Just say open world.

One thing I haven’t heard any reviews talk about is if there is a Newgame+ mode. Anyone know?
It's not really that hard.I've watched some reviews and I still don't feel it. None of the reviews even explain the gameplay loop. Just say open world.
