did you do the editing yourself? because there are several beats in there that made me totally lose it. even setting aside my bias, it was by far the best of the applications that I saw.

That's a good point.

Not to mention that it's not like Dan was like "Wow this Taco Bell competition sounds neat, I hate its food but whatever, I wouldn't mind a free wedding."

Dan's been repping The Bell since DAY ONE.

He DEFINITELY deserved to be in that competition.

and yeah I'll second Dan's contest entry vid actually being really funny, mostly due to some great editing. Credit where it's due.

Nobody's being shitty, and even Dan owned up to his social media following being a potential factor. Calm down.

I'm glad it can give you some reprieve. Sometimes posting in this thread can feel like shouting into the void, as I'm not one of the super regular posters and I guess many of my comments aren't spicy enough to warrant response. But I wanted to let you know that I heard ya and appreciate ya.

Isn't Bianca an ex-pornstar though if I remember an old Danswers correctly? That's weirdly liberal for them to pick them based on that alone (in a good way).

I've liked Dan since he started, but one thing that I'm reminded of is that he's made a lot of progress as a dude since starting, or at least it feels like it. Being open to more things, more constructive/self aware, more adept at knowing when to live the gimmick and when to be genuine.

Good on ya, Dan.

The context that Dan said he opposed people leveraging their followers has nothing to do with the contest.

Dan didn't threaten Taco Bell based on his followers or something.
