It was weaker than the others but still tremendous fun, set pieces and bosses.
If this is true and nothing is censored, it's a day one for me. I want to support good games even though they're remasters. Better than the GOW 2018/Ragnarok trash.

Sony is slowly changing PlayStation into Remaster/RemakeStation. What’s next? They seem to be very cautious in terms of new things and after concord fiasco they might be even more.

It's waste of time to continuously relive the past. Why buy a new console when the same games come out over and over again? If you haven't played these games before, which I highly doubt considering we are on a gaming oriented forum, then sure. Unlucky for you if you've missed them before. They are still available if you look a little harder and you can play them in their original state.

When the series are blocked in different gen, yeah I mean is normal to be happy not everyone have 3/4 gens worth in consoles to play around...
The problem are not the remasters, the problem is the reason why there are remasters are made, people buy since there is no way to play old PS2/3 games.

The main reason for the remasters is to bring their games over to new (PC) platform, for an entirely new audience who have likely never play them on console before.

If it wasn't modern Sony I'd be on cloud nine right now as the original trilogy are my favourite games in the series by far but then you just know they'll remove any form of nudity and excesive gore or dialogue to not offend the snowflakes slowly changing the games...so I'm just taking a wait and see approach with this for now until they show something.

Psp games: Ghost of Sparta, Chains of Olympus.
Those four games receive a remaster-remake treatment to make them look like the GoW 3 remaster on Ps4, or better bearing in mind that Ps5 remaster should aim for 4k, 60fps.
If I have to choose, I'd love to see Ghost of Sparta with the graphics of GoW3.

What's your definition of perfectly fine? Bloodborne and GR2 are stuck at 30fps, while GRR is 60fps but stuck at 1080p. A couple of quick patches would allow these games to reach 4k 60fps or at least 1440p 60fps relatively easily and they could charge like $30 for new owners and like a $10 upgrade fee for existing owners. Easy money for easy work.

Why would that matter? The USA has tons of debt too but it's still the best country in the world. Or...Apple has even more debt than Sony but its still widely viewed as one of the most valuable companies in the world. You do realize you can leverage debt too.

Ascension is one of the best in the series. The combat system is the best it has ever been especially with the grapple moveset and meter. People who say otherwise are probably the ones who play it for the spectacle setpieces ( which funny enough, Ascension has a ton of ) or who mash square square triangle. The trials of archimedes were ace before the notorious patch which dumbed down the difficulty. Also, don’t see this mentioned enough but enemy variety is off the charts in this game.
This will be a day 1 for me if Ascension is in. Was planning 3 months of ps plus premium to play all the Gows besides some other stuff but might just hold off if this happens to be true.
