GOG's #NoDRM Summer Sale [UP: Last day]

Are the Deponia games any good? I don't really play many adventure games, but I'll give 'em a shot if they're good.

Otherwise, pretty weak day.

Bought Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics for $15. I've never seen them this low before, so I jumped at them. Also DL'ed Torchlight for FREE obviously.

Otherwise, pretty weak day.

I started the first one and I liked the graphics, hated the main character and got bored with the story so I stopped playing it before the end of chapter 1

Damn my bargains addiction. Grabbed Syndicate Wars, Silent Storm Gold, Anachronox and the I-War series. And I've played all those games back in the day.

Bought The Witcher 1 + 2 yesterday.
Witcher 3 trailer sold me on both, hope I'll like them!

Perfect time to jump in I'd say. There was just a developer made mod released for Witcher 2 which fixes/changes a lot of things, by the time you're finished with the first I'd expect potential bugs in the mod to be ironed out.

Yes, I've heard something about it, good timing indeed. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to play them anytime soon!
I should be able to play them before 3 is out anyway.

Hot damn that's a crazy deal on the Might & Magic games.

So worth it.

Thinking about that deal. I have the fondest memory's oh Might & Magic 3 playing it with my friend together. Man did we have a blast with this.

The others I only played briefly I think, 2 on my Amiga and the rest on PC. Although I don't know if I actually played 6.

Damn, for some reason I thought The Witcher 2 was more than a day sale so I missed it. I already played through it on 360 but I want to do it again on PC. Guess I'll wait for the next sale.

Great sales so far. GOG always has some sick stuff.

They're totally worth it. I've sunk so many hundreds of hours into HOM&M 3 and M&M 6-8. For the price you can't go wrong.

Picked up the M&M collection today. I've been tempted by these numerous times and I remember playing the Xeen games back in the day so I took the plunge. I'm building up quite a GOG library.

I'm hoping for daily sales for Strike Commander and System Shock 2.

The bundle doesn't include Heroes (I wouldn't be surprised if there was a separate Heroes bundle later on, though.). It's just the RPG M&Ms plus Crusaders of.

I played nearly 60 hours of Sword of the Stars: The Pit. It's a great traditional roguelike with a nice scifi feel and some interesting crafting system that allows some persistence through playthroughs. It does need an expansion, but thankfully one is planned and is coming soon. Overall great game.

Sold.

Great day of sales! Too bad I already own all of these I want. Waiting on a "Commander Combo Pack" so I can finally play Strike Commander.

I don't even know what to say other than that today is the greatest day of deals in the history of GOG. I don't know about anyone else, but I am living the dream, and sparkles are flying everywhere.

Sparkles.

Was considering the Sierra bundle but it's only 69% off and it has been 75% off in the past so I think I'll pass on it this time. Did pick up the Bullfrog bundle to get Syndicate Wars though, already owned all the other games included in it from a previous sale though. Would anyone recommend Omerta? I remember hearing it was too boring and simplistic at the time of release, I wonder if the DLC makes it any more appealing.

Worth bearing in mind that if I recall last year correctly - and hopefully someone out there can verify what I'm remembering - they did this last year on the solstice as well, and when they did, that was the *full* list of daily deals for the sale - those that were repeats were done, those that weren't would come back in individual deals later on. I think there may have been one bundle that wasn't in the big list that appeared later on, but I recommend you don't count on it.

On which note:

NOTE: Square Enix, Capcom, Interplay & Bohemia Interactive games will go off sale 25th June, everything else will go off sale 5th July.

That Square bundle in particular, this *might* be your only opportunity to get it. It also might not, of course!

You remember correctly. And they said in advance that there would be one or two bundles not featured on that day, don't know if they said anything like that this time.

Everyone should buy King of Dragon Pass.
