Perfect time to jump in I'd say. There was just a developer made mod released for Witcher 2 which fixes/changes a lot of things, by the time you're finished with the first I'd expect potential bugs in the mod to be ironed out.

Picked up the M&M collection today. I've been tempted by these numerous times and I remember playing the Xeen games back in the day so I took the plunge. I'm building up quite a GOG library.

The bundle doesn't include Heroes (I wouldn't be surprised if there was a separate Heroes bundle later on, though.). It's just the RPG M&Ms plus Crusaders of.

I found The Witcher 1 to be almost as fun as sticking a soup scoop up your ass. YMMV.

Be patient with W1, the combat and the pacing may put you off for the first few hours, but it's a solid game. I liked it way more than I liked W2.

I played nearly 60 hours of Sword of the Stars: The Pit. It's a great traditional roguelike with a nice scifi feel and some interesting crafting system that allows some persistence through playthroughs. It does need an expansion, but thankfully one is planned and is coming soon. Overall great game.

I think there may have been one bundle that wasn't in the big list that appeared later on, but I recommend you don't count on it.


On which note:

NOTE: Square Enix, Capcom, Interplay & Bohemia Interactive games will go off sale 25th June, everything else will go off sale 5th July.

That Square bundle in particular, this *might* be your only opportunity to get it. It also might not, of course!
