I think I'll get FTL on the official site instead (its 2.49 as well) since gog has no Linux version.
That massive thread by Mama Robotnik on the Kain series and this sale made it impossible for me to resist completing my collection of these games on PC.
Whaa? I learned my lesson. Always check GAF first.I think I'll get FTL on the official site instead (its 2.49 as well) since gog has no Linux version.
Think of it this way: if Fez is an expression of Phil Fish, and you like Fez, then you like Phil Fish. I wouldn't want to realize that either.I really want to try Fez but Phil Fish has always rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe that's a dumb way of looking at things.
Nearly complete? Did you go "Hey, what about Escape from Mt. Drash" too?

I like Fez. I think Phil Fish is a nincompoop. Therefore, Fez is not an expression of Phil Fish. Everyone wins!
I think the website is taking a pounding.
Yeah, I kid. Conversely, though the guy can be obtuse sometimes, I think I like Jonathan Blow more than Braid.I like Fez. I think Phil Fish is a nincompoop. Therefore, Fez is not an expression of Phil Fish. Everyone wins!
Holy crap, so much stuff. How's Omerta? Comparable to something? Good, Bad?
really considering buying the D&D pack, but I'm wondering how easy most of these games are to play on a Macbook Air (really limited space here, so wine is basically my only option)? I suspect the 2d ones would run well without much pain but I'm skeptical as to NWN2 (though I'd love to be able to take it with me wherever and... hopefully... have it run semi-decently)
hell, even if NWN can't play PS:T + BG2 are worth it at that price alone so I'm just curious.
Are the Legacy of Cain games that good? Which ones are the must-plays?
Just spent $60 on this sale.
If Gemini Rue is any indication of how good the rest of those games are, yeah, it's very good if you like point and click adventures. But that's just an assumption based on one game. Hopefully someone else can give more detail. So that Wadjet Eye collection is very good, right?
I've spent ~$100 on this sale.
Fuck.
I just started Gemini but so far it's a solid step above the first two Blackwell games, which I thought were just "decent".If Gemini Rue is any indication of how good the rest of those games are, yeah, it's very good if you like point and click adventures. Yes, indeed! All games in the bundle are great. So that Wadjet Eye collection is very good, right?
The irony wasn't lost on me when I opened this thread and my first thought was "Aww man, no Steam codes???"
Just spent about 40 bucks to get some games I missed from the previous generation on PS2, some indie games and a few pc classics. I got three three Oddworld games, the Theif/Deus Ex bundle, System Shock 2, Psychonauts, Beyond Good and Evil, FTL, Hotline Miami and Fez!I had only been casual GOG user (console gamer, had lots of problems with early steam and don't like origin at all) but this has been great. I'm looking to playing a lot of quality PC titles in the near future, I may even invest in a controller.
