Wow, this game is the king of emergent gameplay scenarios and subverting your expectations at every moment. After adventuring around with Franklin in the north (and picking up a new heist member after rescuing her from a crash on the side of the road!), I switched back to Trevor to accept a mission closer to the city.

He wakes up from a bender, drunk in a side alley, smashing the bottle on the ground as he gets back in his red pickup. After a few blocks, I get tagged by a cop for drunk driving and the chase was on.

After losing them, I made my way to the Legalize Weed guy to do his mission as T. I have got to get some of that shit that he's got.

How do you prevent the characters from changing outfits? This basically prevents me from accomplishing the cult mission that Michael has to wear the robe for 10 in-game days.

You must suffer and wear the robes you antithesis.

Clothing, races, etc. sure - but I want a casino or something!

I hope there's some element of story in the online too, even if it's just meeting NPC's before missions/jobs.

There's no reason why they couldn't add new stuff to Online. Activities like bowling or some other sport that isn't in single player. Or new types of races, missions etc. They're limited only by their imagination practically. I don't see why they couldn't add a full blown casino with a large variety of games, kinda like the ones in San Andreas but with more games.

Hell they should program in a sports team (I think one exists in the game already) and make it so we can gamble on them like real sports team. Point spreads and all that stuff.

Benzies was quoted in the CVG interview sayign that they plan to add content at a faster pace than people can consume it. They said they have a bunch of things planned. From the GTA O reveal, you can see one or two things that aren't in the SP game, like arm wrestling. Now, arm wrestling is boring as hell, but why not poker, black jack, and the stuff they implemented in RDR's online? Your idea of sports betting is top notch... I'd love to see the horse betting mini-game from GTA:SA (albeit one that is balanced better) make a return.

Wheb you buy vehicles via the internet, do you have to be careful not to destroy/lose them? I want to buy a cargobob helicopter, but it's damn expensive, and I don't want to have to worry about it's location/safety.

I've completed the assassinations, were there other stock tips throughout the story?

I tapped as hard as I can from the swim to mid bike where I dropped to 5th and realized my effort didn't really matter after 5 minutes of being in 3rd at best.
I changed fingers, tapped until the running portion where I just hit 2nd, passed the dude in 1st right away and was uncontested until finish.

It would go in cycles of them getting random speed boosts, it was bullshit.

check the Social Club website it has a better list more then 14

I had $100 million in there accounts but it was a 25% profit boost.

yeah, it's a pretty big deal here, especially amongst women. I wouldn't say it's strictly a California thing, though.

I live in LA, and my employer offers a daily yoga session every day at 11AM. Pretty sure we're not the only one.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of the Houser bros. got way into yoga at some point in the last five years. =P

I like to think so. Heh, I haven't played many R* games online (did some co-op RDR missions and a little free roam) but if they pull the same crap EA does then I'll lose it. EA's sports games always seem to have horrible server issues for the first few weeks and then feign ignorance while patting themselves on the back by saying, "Oh gee, wow we didn't realize so many people wanted to play our game and our servers crashed. LOL hang on guys we're working on it!" Ugh.

I have spent most of the day reading jetpack hunt threads on the GTA forums. People get crazy looking for easter eggs, and it looks like Rockstar has given us a lot to work with this time around. I really fucking hope the jetpack is in the game, I never cared that it wasn't "realistic" in SA, it was fun.

But the best random moments are the actual random moments, such as a guy on a faggio ran a red light, got hit by a car and fell off, got up to get back on his motorbike and while he was running towards it the car that hit him off, ran him over and killed him...
I was laughing for a good 10 minutes, so good. Moments like this is why I can't WAIT for the record ability we will get next gen.

Also, a Grenade launcher to a Cougar is very VERY satisfying.

Still is painful how there is no burger shot, cluckin' bell and no proper police missions ( don't mind fire missions)
Also, is this the first GTA game without a proper theme tune during the loading? Pretty disappointing. I mean there is music but it's very quite and pretty crap.

Where is this map found? The social club website is mostly unusable for me. I have no idea how people are finding their snapmatic photos -- for me, the gallery is always blank on the website.

Yeah, that's scripted as part of a mission (and amazing), but this was just while I was driving around in free-roam.
