During the Points of Interest stream today, they would neither confirm nor deny that
the crystals are possibly related to the Mursaat either. If Countess Anise is super serious about her job (and I think that she is), the Shining Blade kinda sorta have a thing about the Mursat.More if she's actually Livia, as that would mean she's dealt with them personally and probably holds a teeny tiny grudge.

These are amazing and should be quoted for new page. I've gotta be honest, the GIF about me didn't load fully so I got the wrong end of the stick at first. I was then enlightened by the entire guild and now I get it, and I laughed quite a bit! Why am I the treacherous usurper though?

Nintendo funded it, so nope. Also, Bayo 2 runs at 60fps. Textures be damned. I'm so glad they're releasing a definitive version of Bayo 1 bundled in with 2 for free. Wii U superiority.

Doubtful, but it depends on the exact words of the contract. Usually when you fund a game you tie it up for exclusivity for as long as possible.

To interject: I think games encourage people to become "validation addicts" because the hobby is involving and playing a game builds a sense of personal competency. If you think a game is bad, your self image of knowing how games work is on the line. (Same if you think a game is good.)
Investment in built-up skillsets. People simultaneously desire to be entertained but getting to the fun part means applying skills and if the game doesn't work well with your skills it's no fun. It can be easier to blame it on the game than decide you just don't feel like adapting your skillset for the sake of this one game.
It seems very easy to fall into a pattern of going about seeking validation every time you don't like something. Going with the idea of conditioning I would call it a bad habit that feels good. People like criticism, makes you feel in control, with authority over the subject.
There used to be a GAF poster from years ago, can't quite remember the name. Guy had a hard-on for telling everyone who liked the stories in RPGs he hated that they were objectively wrong. The memorable post that revealed his attitude is when he literally said anyone who disagreed with his assessment of a game's story was personally attacking him. Because their conflicting opinion was an implicit criticism of his education, and competency in literature.
I tend to feel it's that kind of personality, someone who is very strident about their competency being reinforced, that results behaving like a validation addict.

So I got the game yesterday and i have to admit at first i wasn't really feeling it. I created a norn ranger was playing it but wasn't really feeling anything was even considering getting a refund but decided to go through some different races and classes. And im glad I did ended up playing a asura mesmer until 4 in the morning and i haven't done that in a long time. Also created some secondary classes (necromancer and Engineer) and loving them too.

Golems are already powerful they don't need to be made OP...
This allows them to be worked into a support playstyle though instead of always being the "Get a bunch of golems, then port into the enemy base."

hahaha like that strategy gonna change, gamers gonna run 8-10 Omega's at you, now all the drivers will more powerful and can't be killed even when the Golem is destroyed..
There's a siege disabler trap now. Toss it down and it becomes disabled for 45 sec. That is a LOT of time in WvW.

I doubt it could be worse than playing Blade & Soul on some dubious wonky Russian bootleg server either way, and I survived that, so I guess I'll be fine.
Going through the story missions are more fun this time around since I've finally started the books. I got so excited seeing Soulkeeper and recognizing places and how they fit into the story.
I wish I would have gotten the soundtrack at release. I haven't been able to find it for months.

Nether have some people who ordered it at launch, since apparently DirectSong is horrible. I got mine okay, but I've seen quite a few angry threads on Reddit.
You could always just find the playlist on Youtube and listen to that, I guess.
Yeah, I just like physical copies of soundtracks. Although, the DirectSong stuff sounds awful. Guess I should be happy that I avoided that.

Everything in the game, basically. Dungeons, Fractals, WvW, PVP, explore it all, get all the vistas, finish your Personal Story, get started on Living World season 2, etc. It all depends on what you want to do, or enjoy doing. Try it all and see what sticks. Get yourself kitted out in full exotic weapons and armour if you haven't already.
