Sonic handles my blue balls
I thought this was cute :

Someone Giving new characters a helping hand and giving lessons and tips for the fresh new players * teardrop

That's beautiful.

Only tips I give new players is for rangers to roll BearBow and if anyone calls them out on it, respond only in Spanish.

I was cleaning up my bank a bit yesterday and decided I should make Mawdrey, probably. I have those parts and stuff. Yeah I could delete them and play the story bits again but eww.

Also I wish moto was selling his stuff so I could make a Sab1 and Sab2 weapon or whatever. I have the 6 coins and such.

I was cleaning up my bank and ended up just deleting a bunch of skins after making sure they were in my wardrobe. It really annoys me we have no way to credit the wardrobe with the skins so we get a free transmute with them, but I needed the space. I had over 20 skins I ended up deleting, and still didn't delete them all.

I just discovered one of Scarlets lair s by accident underneath the Priory .

Shame i no longer can get the loot from those chests .

I wouldn't mind finding a group of like minded people who would want to find a "middle ground" between gaf, pugs, and speed runners. People who don't mind stacking at some convenient places (like those SE golems), but won't be told what to run explicitly, in a low-stress no worries gaf atmosphere. Maybe that cross section is a bit narrow, though. That's the sort of dungeon runs I would like to go on.

That was sort of what our Fractal runs were like, yeah? Especially with a group like the one we did on my birthday.

Well if they make her like that i would demand smaller hitboxes . :p

In case any new people are wondering , this is GAFractals vs Mai Trin fight
Recorded by Ike to give you an idea why she is called one of the hardest bosses in the game :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwcgeSALfFU

That artillery barrage is murder if you are unlucky .

That was on a level 40 run, so that Mistlock Instability was extra difficult in that situation. We did level 49 the very next day, and it was a lot easier. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEQFXqm5FAs

They've also patched Mai and rebalanced her fight since then, so even our level 50 run a few months later was eaiser. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVHjct-gliw&t=54m50s

I'll be back soon. I don't think I'm technically level 50, but I've run it before.

Fractals are the best dungeon. Fractalsmash isn't even necessary.

The Cryptarch's Bane
When I got really interested in exploring the dungeons the general buzz around them was already "zerk speedrun or KICK" and I just never got into it. Since I play so many characters I play them all differently and it's often FAR from the most efficient or "best" build.
:'(

I run Whatever the Fuck I Want (I have three builds per character on my Thief, Mesmer, and Ele and will often swap based on what the party makeup looks like when we start) because all I actually care about in the process of running a dungeon is having fun. I rather like the core gameplay of GW2 and getting to mess with whichever build I feel like most is pretty crucial to my having been able to enjoy its content.

I hope you'll come out for some more runs with us!
Sounds like we need to start having regular dungeon events to show people the basics in a fun way without any pressure. Because they really are fun guys, and are not to be missed. I can't speak for every single GAFer, but I personally love showing people the ropes and dungeons have all sorts of cool things going on that are worth experiencing.

I don't mind if it takes longer than usual, or we die a lot, or whatever other outcomes you might worry about; repairs are free and as long as people are having fun, that's the important part. Some of my favorite dungeon runs have been ones where we fail (usually because everybody is so laid back and/or drunk that it's funny rather than frustrating) and some of the worst dungeon runs have been fast, efficient speed runs.

I know Hawkian loves doing dungeon runs and I'm sure there's quite a few others lurking about. Maybe we'll schedule some after Makeups or on an weeknight.
Ah, word. On it.

Anyone who might be interested in such an event on a semi-regular basis, what times of day/days of the week would be good for you?

Very few paths under our tutelage will run over 90 minutes at most even for a brand new group, some are as brief as a half hour or even much less. There are some that can be longer but we will give advance notice for this kind of thing.

I'm only pretty much free on Sat, but I'm willing to help anyone in the Oceanic/SEA timezone (or any other timezone if I'm on that time).

So if we ever get back into it, maybe we will finally get some rare loot worth bragging about, haha.

I'd be 100% up for that again. Especially now that Magnetic Shield doesn't lock me in place. Huge buff that.

Sounds like we need to start having regular dungeon events to show people the basics in a fun way without any pressure.

If you need to fill out a party for stuff like that, no matter the dungeon, I'm also available if I'm on.

Good day in GW2 so far!
First I got to see my second path of AC explorable! We had a good time :)

wLGYJ6K.png

Then I hopped over to SW and found a taxi to Demo which was the last one I needed. After that I found another taxi to a breach where we killed Gold and Silver insanely fast. So I got to do a dungeon, finish up my SW cheevos and it's patch day. Yay!

i think i'll conduct a group of dungeons during the week, since my time is GMT-3 ( Brazillia but without the daylight savings ) i'll also leave the time i'll start the runs here and leave a notice it in guild chat when the party is forming.

so, during the week, Amaterasu Omiokami will be leading groups. Im not the best nor i am a speedrunner, neither im a dungeon master, so if you're thinking about hopping in: prepare for a rocky ride.

Kanik and I were on our rangers when we started a SE1 LFG. Sat there for 10 minutes and no one wanted to join our fragrant party. I switched to my Mesmer and then the group filled up in less than a minute.

I switched back to Earl Squirrelson after we got in dungeon ^__^

I just did SE1 with my Mesmer for the first time in months. Golems went down effortlessly in 3 seconds. Stacking redeemed. Maybe it's the universe and the GW2 community's way of telling me to switch back to Mesmer.

But my PvP score suffers. So torn.

Lots of people volunteering to lead dungeons, but not as many asking to follow.

So how about you all lead me through The Ruined City of Arah (Explorable Path 4) one day?

It's Update Day, hope they're early again like last week. I'm eager to see how the Silverwastes change, especially Camp Resolve. They can't keep the Fortress events running at the same pace if people are now working underground too... I guess we'll find out soon.

Said the quitter.

Zeroth had the courtesy to let us know he had some personal stuff to sort out and wouldn't be able to play for a while. He didn't "quit."

I hope you are wrong, as you usually are.

Anytime I'm on I'm down for dungeons. I don't really care to lead but, I'm always willing to go along and help. I also don't care if we speed run it or if we screw around in it for an hour, as long as it's fun.

So that's how you don't get booted from the guild...

yAhlzQf.gif
i'm sure we just sought your name out and booted you specifically
There's Teamspeak and Mumble info in the OP, which one is used most?
The Teamspeak isn't ours; it's just the Stormbluff Isle community server, and we do have a channel in it. That's where you want to go for any WvW stuff or the guild-organized world events. The Mumble is actually our rental. We use it the most of the two though, basically for any scheduled events, mission nights/makeups, and release days we hang out in there.

Patch notes!

A new Pact weapon set is available at Black Lion Weapon Specialists for a limited-time price of one ticket per weapon. Tickets can be found inside Black Lion Chests.
Noooooooooooo! D:
Silly me for thinking they could be something else I guess D:

Nightmare fragments can be found in small pods throughout the maze. Combine them with a bandit skeleton key to open the greater nightmare pod.

They just introduced another currency. Fuck's sake.
