Holy shit at this forger's Pegasus map re-skin

I went to DL it and saw that he has a Pegasus 2.0B that adds a tunnel from the shotgun spawn around to the back side of Red base. I'm not sure if that completely fixes my main issue with the map, but it's certainly a start.

Anyway, it looks fantastic. I really wish 343 would update the forge maps they have in MM.

I literally can't playing anything in H5: Forge, always gives me the "error retrieving data center connection quality information" message.

I expect the sequel to Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be out before any new forge map additions or tweaks to existing forge maps in Halo 5. lol

I feel like the aiming is so much better on the PC with the controller, than on the Xbox One. The only still annoying thing is the melee delay while in air. Still not a fan of it and never will be.

I don't know if Sunday night customs is a thing, but if it is does anyone want to help me test something? I've got most of the scripting there (ie: the objectives can and must be completed in order) but I need to work on a few things and would like input on what I've done so far.


It's a Warzone Assault flavored remix. The objective is to retrieve the data from the top of the Spire and escape to a waiting Pelican alive. The first phase replaces the two Covenant beacons with a Warzone armory that the attackers must activate a beacon at to capture. After that, the players need to enable access to the Spire's lifts, and must do so by activating two beacons at the standard Phase 2 objective locations from Reach and by destroying a shield generator under the Spire. Then, they must activate yet another button on the top floor of the Spire and make their way to a Pelican on the Spire's edge, where they must survive for long enough for the Pelican to begin takeoff.

The triggers for the individual objectives and spawns now function the way I want them to. The game spawns each team in a hub location where they can access weapons that change depending on how far along the game is and spawns that change with every phase. Vehicles will also spawn depending on the phase: an Oni Warthog and Ultra Wraith for Phase 2 and a Wasp for Phase 3.

I'm doing a boosting lobby for the W10 achievements but after that I'm free, shouldn't take more than an hour.

EDIT: Also who is ViciousSubtlety at 343?
 
No radar customs can't come soon enough. This piece of shit radar making everyone crouch around like little fukheads man..

So mad right now I could punch a baby into the Sun.

Am I risking it using cheat engine? yes. But someone found out how to change the FPS to 120 and I had to redownload it and try it...halo at 100FOV and 120FPS....my god its amazing

Toggle crouchers are the worst, there's this guy with the gamertag Caveman I always come across in MM, he toggle crouches everywhere, he's an onyx FFS.
 
People who throw a grenade right at the start of a match really piss me off. Like it happens almost every game. Do you not know your controller settings or something.

i do that alot mainly because the triggers are so sensitive i bump them when i pick up my controller
 
Please 343 reverse bungies shitty fov decisions (h1 was 90 and it went downhill from there, h3 was 70 or 75).

It makes it seem like your running twice as fast, maybe we wouldn't even of gotten sprint if tunnel vision fov wasn't implemented

Yeah I ran around on Stasis with a few in the 90+ range. 95 is pretty good from what I saw. Not gonna play customs with it on with anyone, though. Not until they update the real slider in.

Ah, I rarely go there, so that's probably why I never see it.

Also I'm about to just start backing out when Molten comes up. Yeah, you're so good at this game crouched in a corner. When you actually catch their bitch ass in a 1v1 you shit on them because they are trash.
 
Damn just got done playing customs on PC for the past 4 hours, had a blast! Haven't done customs in Halo since.....honestly I think Reach? I don't remember doing much in 4 at all. Can't wait for the server browser, also honestly don't think I'll be going back to the Xbone version. Customs is all I need.
 
Shit is just annoying. Yeah I understand there are times you need to play more passively and defensively, but these fuckers play like that the entire game. It feels like I'm playing CSGO or some shit and I have to check every corner.

It's a fault with 343i's terrible multiplayer map design more than anything.
 
I really hope 343 learned for H6 that maps consisting of hallways and small rooms are shit.

The best maps in H5 have the most open sightlines.

I think 5 has some god awful maps in Overgrowth, Riptide and Molten. Yet they've also been proven to make some stellar arena maps, Truth, Eden, Fathom, Coliseum, Mercy and Stasis are all pretty great.

Even then Truth is a remake of a Bungie map and Mercy is a remake of their own most memorable map from Halo 4.

Halo 5's maps are just not that great or memorable compared to what Bungie offered us in the first 3 games, especially Halo 2 and Halo 3.

Halo 3 has mediocre 4v4 maps besides Narrows, the Pit and Citadel. Snowbound, Isolation, Construct , Orbital and Epitah are all pretty bad. Halo 2 fares much better.
