I wouldn't say destroys but in my experience I would say the DMR is the best starting rifle.
I feel like it'll come down to personal preference, hopefully.

I've already stated this else where, but the parity of features from previous games means dick to me if the core game sucks. (Reach). The core gameplay looks awesome to me, and that will carry the game further for me, than any of the cut features ever would have.
I'm not used to getting DLC so soon after release. I could wait several more months and be happy.
Well shit.From Ellis, on Twitter:
How so? They very easily could have drawn up ideas for the maps while in development (or after gold) and will work on them now that the game is complete.
Please point me to the posts saying the game was going to be bad because of the exclusion of campaign theater. I participated in the discourse. The opinions ranged from "I don't care" to "I'm deeply disappointed". I thought it was an entirely reasonable spectrum of responses. Quote who you are talking about, using that spiffy multi-quote feature if you're going critique opinions. I don't see how coming in and offering broadsides at unnamed posters over the past swath of pages does any good. Talk to people, not some amorphous mass.
I have checked with my sources and can confirm that theater mode does in fact not work with campaign.
Why does 343 continue to make stupid changes that do nothing but shit on Halo fans?
Probably a stupid question, but I assume we'll be able to purchase the War games pass at any time? Like when the first Map pack releases?
I feel like it'll come down to personal preference, hopefully.
Also included in the Halo 4 War Games Map Pass are two unique in-game helmets (Scanner and Strider) that feature new geometry, and an exclusive in-game emblem (Falcon). The Halo 4 War Games Map Pass is included as part of the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Halo 4 Console Bundle.
Tell your friend he's an asshole, lol.
Every now and then you run into people betraying on purpose, sucks they ruin the game.
Also their sister studio T10 does the DLC thing good too. Maybe the same philosophy was brought over.I'm am satisfied with the DLC pacing.
Gears 3 did that very well.
I think preference is certainly part of it. There were some games where I just couldn't do shit with the DMR and I would switch to the BR and just destroy. Maybe it was in my head, maybe it's just what worked for me on that map or gametype. Don't know for sure yet.
Just popping in to ask if there is a place where I can get the limited edition of Halo 4. Everywhere seems to be out of stock.
Doubt we'll see any Covenant levels in campaign either. It's a shame though, that there still isn't a Covenant themed map in any of the announced DLC packs.
Yesterday no campaign theater mode, today the BR 'sucks'. I wonder what tomorrow will bring?

They're really only discussing the aesthetics of the map. They could only have concept art for all we know. I'm sure they're not "already done".Announcing this much DLC before launch always rubs me the wrong way. At least pretend a good chunk of it isn't already done!
So is this saying we get the two helmets with the LE or has he got that wrong as well?
Cripes. Hard to keep up.
Why you gotta talk this sexy, Kittens? Can't agree more. They're really only discussing the aesthetics of the map. They could only have concept art for all we know. I'm sure they're not "already done".
And I really hope they break away from the already played out aesthetics we're getting with the launch maps. The Forerunner maps are good, but the human ones all feel so similar. UNSC Lab in gloomy forest, UNSC Lab in snowy mountains, UNSC Lab in grassy highlands. When Adrift has the standout aesthetic amongst your human maps, you know you've got a problem. I'm not saying the environments and skyboxes aren't gorgeous, cause they are. I just want to see more variety in architecture. Think Reflection, Boardwalk, Ghost Town, Turf.
Hopefully Skyline is Turf, it sounds plausible.
It says Console Bundle. So apparently the console comes with this version of the map pass.
April Release for Castle Map Pack.
Sounds like a perfect reason for 343 to come to PAX East in March!
Play This:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xOmRM3eleQAre we going to have the junior debate, again? Please no HaloGAF.
So it sorta sounds like they held back maps from on disk to sell as DLC?
Maybe it's the New Mombasa skyline. Just hope the location is nowhere near Foundry *vomit*Sweet, thanks. Nice to have details ahead of release. I wonder if "somewhat familiar" is a hint that Skyline is a remake.
I had a feeling that the SpartyPass was the same across the board. Glad the LE people get the helmets too. From Ellis, on Twitter:
Ellis confirmed it was a mistake via Tweet. LE, not console.
God damn, this series has been so good.
My name is Lt. Barlow and I'm putting together a special team, and I need me eight soldiers. Eight HaloGAF soldiers. Now, y'all might've heard rumors about the armada happening soon. Well, we'll be leaving a little earlier. We're gonna be dropped into GAF, dressed as civilians. And once we're in enemy territory, as a bushwhackin' guerrilla army, we're gonna be doin' one thing and one thing only... killin' Juniors. Now, I don't know about y'all, but I sure as hell didn't come down from the goddamn Smoky Mountains, cross five thousand miles of water, fight my way through half of Sicily and jump out of a fuckin' air-o-plane to teach the Juniors lessons in humanity. Junior ain't got no humanity. They're the foot soldiers of a Competitive -hatin', mass murderin' maniac and they need to be dee-stroyed. That's why any and every every son of a bitch we find wearin' a junior tag, they're gonna die. Now, I'm the direct descendant of the mountain man Jim Bridger. That means I got a little Injun in me. And our battle plan will be that of an Apache resistance. We will be cruel to the Junior, and through our cruelty they will know who we are. And they will find the evidence of our cruelty in the disemboweled, dismembered, and disfigured bodies of their brothers we leave behind us. And the Junior won't not be able to help themselves but to imagine the cruelty their brothers endured at our hands, and our boot heels, and the edge of our knives. And the Junior will be sickened by us, and the Junior will talk about us, and the Junior will fear us. And when the Junior closes their eyes at night and they're tortured by their subconscious for the evil they have done, it will be with thoughts of us they are tortured with. Sound good?
Reading the descriptions, doesn't sound like any are Covenant themed.
Also let's hope that 343 handles the playlists of DLC a hell of a lot better than Reach.
I don't think I've ever played a match of Ridgeline in matchmaking....
December? Sweet.
Also, I don't know how much weight it holds, but one E3 (can't remember if it was prior to Halo 4's reveal or last year), the Kotaku guy (Totilo?) was on Keighly's pre show saying that MS didn't want anymore purple in Halo. Maybe that's why the Covenant maps are no where to be found? Sounds crazy, but it's weird that there isn't a single one out of what will be...22 maps?
But he never mentioned the helmets...I had a feeling that the SpartyPass was the same across the board. Glad the LE people get the helmets too.
