I'd be okay with that expect for the Highlands part. My worst nightmare in Premium Slayer, and the reason I won't play it, is 5v5 Highlands is literally like taking a nap. It's gets voted for every time I go into that playlist and it has never gotten close to the score limit before time expires. Sometimes I go a few minutes without even seeing other players, way way too big for 5v5.

After the way Mythic Big Team failed spectacularly in Halo 3 even with the Mythic disc, and the low population of Community Big Team, I don't think you're gonna see the population support 2 Big Team playlists especially with one locked behind a DLC gate.

I would be fine with taking Highlands out of the 5v5 playlist (with the exception of snipers).

did I mention I would leave snipers in 5v5 because it's Tunavi's favorite :p

It's fine the way it is, number wise. They still use Anchor 9 and Condemned, both of which are far too small for 8v8. Problem I have found while playing is Invasion shows up far too much.

If they include any BTB maps in the CEA pack, they should make BTB DLC required. Otherwise all the DLC BTB maps would not show up.

No, instead the TU should unlock the achievement for those that don't have it so no one has to play that horrible gametype ever again.

Speaking of the TU I wonder if it's possible for them to make the Firefight Voice into MP/FF voice.

It seems a bit bizarre that they ever took it out of Team Objective.... was anyone really asking for it to be removed? And if it's good enough to feature in any playlist it may as well be in the one that's dedicated to objective gametypes.

Most complaints came from getting too many fringe gametypes like Headhunter, Stockpile, etc. But even since then, they've added junk like 3 Flag, CTF Slayer, and even in all that kept the random Hot Potato in despite Oddball already being included. They also without reason dumped Multi-Bomb. So I really have no true answer to where they want(ed) to go with Objective.

Stockpile's main problem was Bungie using it on asymmetric maps which led to many unbalanced games. It often had shown up on Sword Base and Powerhouse, rather than more balanced areas where both teams had the same area of offense/defense (Asylum, Countdown, Zealot, Anchor 9).

I can see the problems that would arise on some of those maps. Still, I do find it weird they decided to totally remove it from the one playlist I would of assumed it would always have a home in. It's not like Team Objective could get much less popular, whatever they do.

Weird thing happened in matchmaking just now. We had a host migration during a match that actually reset the game aside from the score. We went back to inital spawns, 12 minutes on the clock. It reset my sprees, so I didn't even realize I had 16 kills and no deaths without the frenzy/riot medals. Ended up getting a perfection and it surprised the shit out of me, lol

Blew my mind and made me realize that Halo was much more than just a videogame, it was also a tool for expression, interaction and communication.

The games we played against the guys on Tempest/Powerhouse and the last zealot game were pretty evenly matched. We just had a shitty start that zealot game.

But before them just straight up lesser people getting screwed over by truskill.

That's fucked up. Give Bungie some of your bucks for their trash to support a charity but then turn around and take advantage of some random nerd on the internet and make a nice profit from what you got. Got more in return than he gave Bungie.

So sick and damn tired of it. Played so much of it in Multi Team back around the first few months of Reach. Hard to tolerate it any longer. At least with the old settings it felt like the matches would go by quickly with all the plasma nade spam. Now it just drags on. Can't stomach any more Elite games.

Late on this I know, but I use Toggle now. I used Hold for years through all of the Halo games and most other shooters, then I wore out two controllers from holding crouch and rifling in Shadowrun for hours every day. I stuck with Hold for about a year in Shadowrun, but after my controller started messing up again I finally switched to Toggle and got used to it. I use Toggle in Reach now because I am used to it, but I hate how getting shot makes you stand up from crouching in Reach, probably would benefit to use Hold, but I don't want to mess up my Shadowrun muscle memory.

I guess the whole, "stand up when you get shot" thing is to nerf crouch rifling in Reach, but I would prefer if it wouldn't do that. Would probably help alleviate jumping and spamming in Reach, the crouch rifler pacing would be able to win his DMR fights more consistently than if he was standing and pacing, but I'm sure Halo fans in general would hate that mechanic.

Sadly there will always be a piece of shit that will do that. Some real fans would have killed to get that and yet some shitbag who wants to make a quick buck takes them to sell on Ebay.

Yeah, it's really easy to fake those kind of things. Modded console could do it, some skill in an image manipulator, same thing.

AngryFacing is on my XBL friends list right now "playing the Halo 4 beta" from the Xbox dashboard.

He's posted on Twitter before that it's easy to fake with XNA Creator's Club or something like that.

It's an obvious fake and an immature way to try and pull page views.
