YesGoing to re-ask my question because it kind of got lost.
As someone who's basically 95% of the time going to play local Co-Op or local versus, is the game worth it?

Yes, halo games are great for local play, and this is no exception. Every single campaign level and multiplayer map at your disposal, it's bound to be a great time with some friends.Going to re-ask my question because it kind of got lost.

Eww what is this halo ce anniversary art style? Thank god they put in the graphics toggle.
Are you playing with the anniversary graphics or the original graphics? While everyone is going on about multiplayer, I've been doing the single player campaign and Halo: CE has been running smooth and great for me. Even when driving the Warthog I didn't notice any jittering or tearing. The only jitter I noticed was the opening cutscene but I even remember that on the 360 version.
I borrowed a Xbox One just to play some Halo 2
Damn, this game is just wonderful as ever
Serously, anniversary is blurry and looks like shit.OG > Anniversary
I was traveling for a lot of the past three years, so I never got to play Halo 4. Just had my first game just now.
What. The. Fuck. It's not even subtle in how much a copy of CoD it is. I don't want CoD. I want Halo. If I want to play Call of Duty, I'll play the real one instead of the 343 knockoff. I heard the game had a poor reception so I hope 343 won't make the same mistake in Halo 5. Also, get rid of Halo 4 in the SWAT playlist. Heck just get rid of Halo 4 everywhere outside of one Halo 4-only playlist so we don't have to play it unless we explicitly choose to.
Wow that was bad.
Absolutely. You're getting 30-40 hours of co-op campaigns, and potentially hundreds of hours of hilarious fun in local multiplayer. This is something you'll be very happy to have.

My amazon prime p reorder is failing me. Been stuck at carrier facility since yesterday and no updates since. Says on time and expected delivery was 13 minutes ago, 8pm here. Prime has never failed me like this before, but looking at all these issues, maybe that's a good thing!? I'd still like to see for myself.

Anybody want to do some custom games?
We have five, looking for as many as will join to play anything. Tired of not being able to get a match in matchmaking. Literally haven't gotten a single match.
GT is justkelson
Matchmaking definetly picking up, roommate just got 2 H2A's in a row. The wait time is going down too
What's the best playlist to find a game?
DLC codes and Forge missing features are hardly bugs.
File share is a pretty big issue but other than that it was very good. Less buggy than many, many other games out there.
Yep. And I do miss that style of campaign.at the sniper level for Halo1, whoever says this game doesn't hold up to todays games is wrong.
Any chance that these issues get fixed via patch? And by issues I mean:
*Frame rate problems in single player and splitscreen across all four games
*Matchmaking problems
*General bugs (UI issues, save file issues, etc... described in the "Unfinished games" thread)
I was going to get this and Unity on day one, but I will hold off until Boxing Day or Black Friday for sales. I'm not surprised at the Unity issues but I am surprised that MS would release Master Chief Collection with those kind of problems. I haven't played Forza Horizon 2 but that game is an absolutely rock solid 1080p 30fps, on top of being a good game (critically). And I have played Sunset Overdrive, and that game is far and away my GOTY so far - beautiful 900p, 30fps with extremely rare drops.
my rank got resetttttttttttttttttttttt
What a mess.
So what's everyone's favorite glitches right now. I gotta go with a top 3 cause 1 couldn't cut it.
3) 4v6, 2v4 matches,
2) Not being able to join other's lobbies (custom, campaign, matchmaking, whatever)
1) Personal fav: Hearing the game and being able to move and shoot but seeing nothing but a black screen with a "Connecting to dedicated servers" message in the right hand, ended by a return to the splash screen and then a crash.

Thanks guys! I assume this applies to the CURRENT state of this game? It's all fine when not considering online?
