It's better. Nowhere near ideal and probably still a pain for most players. I'm fine since I'm blowing through campaigns, but yeah, I'd sit back and let issues get sorted right now if you're into multi.

Pretty sure that's not a bug. I think you ran over the par time. Your score and multiplier will decrease if you're too slow.

But even if the time multiplier runs out, it should still give me the base points for kills, right? That's how it worked in Halo 3 at least, IIRC. I also had a few skulls activated.

HALO 1 is the game of the year! Seriously, this game is totally new and awesome to me.

And that soundtrack is still the best ever.

Yep, Halo CE really is amazing. I must have replayed it over a hundred times, and I still love it.

The combat in Halo CE is still unmatched to this day IMO. It has such a beautiful cadence to it, feels almost like a dance.

When playing coop in halo 2 the prologue video never plays. Single player only, had to have my fiancée sign out so we could see it. Otherwise it just starts the cargo station mission.

Spent a hour in matchmaking last night and only played 2 games. Both Halo 3 Team Slayer. Had a lot of fun in them and seeing Halo 3 run so smoothly was great but I backed out after another 10 minutes of not finding a game. Played 3 missions of Halo: CE's campaign then went to bed. Maybe I'll try again in a little tonight.

Why doesn't H2 use the emblem that you select in the main menu?

Let me guess: the emblem you choose is just for the overall UI. The original games still technically have (all) their original emblem suite, so instead of backporting new emblems to Halo 2 and 3 they just made it so Halo 2 and 3 always load generic emblems.

While Halo is known for good enemy AI, it was also well known for absolute shit friendly AI. I remember it being really bad in Halo 2.

Overall it's been a year of disappointments. Sunset and Bayonetta delivered the goods at least.

Right, while Halo 1's friendly AI was serviceable, it seems like it totally regressed in Halo 2. Everyone in my party chat agrees and informed me that I must have forgetten how bad 2's actually was lol
