At the very end of the Pillars of Autumn mission I drove the warthog to the edge of the cliff. When the cutscene of the chief flying away in the gunship started you could see the warthog falling off the cliff in the background :'D It was great.

Multiplayer itself is unplayable, customs included. I can't connect to any person without problems. The times that I do are pure luck.

The better solution would be something like controls, where you just set an emblem per-game.

Especially since how prominent the emblem is used in Halo 2's UI.

Would also work, in addition to complete armor customization. Not sure why these features aren't present in game.

Oh man random crashes are just the worst.

For my review/discussion I counted the number we had across 3 different systems. 37.
37 crashes...how is that even possible? That kind of instability is unheard of and I thought Unity was bad. Its a disaster and that's not even talking about the other stuff. I couldn't even do the review normally because the game is almost not complete due to all the various issues.

As their flagship series I am blown away they released it with all the issues.

Right, while Halo 1's friendly AI was serviceable, it seems like it totally regressed in Halo 2. Everyone in my party chat agrees and informed me that I must have forgetten how bad 2's actually was lol

I have the exact opposite impression; for starters Halo 2 AI could actually drive and generally followed you further into the level than Halo CE AI did.

But that doesn't seem to be happening with Halo 2 MCC. Something is wrong with the AI in the game that wasn't the case in the original.

Polygon says "Campaign is working Fine."
That is just an actual complete lie.

Agreed I pointed this out in my review. The AI is different. I play Halo 1 and 2 often and Halo 2 is doing different shit than the older versions and not better.

I wonder if it is a Vista glitch being ported over...

should be 5/10 since only half the game works... single player

All three times I've played campaign mode (Each on a different game) I've had serious errors. Seeing reports of the same all over the net. Not as common as the MP issues, but still incredibly common.

3/10

It's weird right? I'm almost certain it's broken because I know I've had the Marines follow me way further into the levels than they seem to be going right now. I'm glad someone else noticed.

So, I was paging through a submenu while I was waiting for matchmaking to do its thing. I get a notification that the matchmaking "failed," but instead of dumping me out of the menu and into the main one, it just OVERLAYS the main menu on top of the other one. I recorded it to demonstrate the absolute chaos on my screen but clip uploading doesn't seem to be working on XB1 for me right now.
