I ran into this issue playing on the Master Chief playlist and did NOT have this bug in the mission when I selected it from the campaign mission select.

Yes please. An extra week of beta wouldn't hurt anyone and would be a nice way to cover my jan entirely leading into feb where games will be coming out.

I think they almost don't give a fuck about this game's future population. With Halo 5 coming out, that will be their baby. I am just cynical at this point, though!

And that soundtrack is still the best ever.

So since multi isn't working for shit I continued my way through Halo CE campaign. I'm currently on the last mission, and I just realized I didn't see a single scorpion tank AT ALL the whole way through the Game. Holy shit. There where a bunch of times I pushed through with a ghost that I swear I was using a tank on the OG Xbox back in the day. Did they get taken out? Or should I throw it on the pile of glitches this game has turned out to be?

I just got home from a very long and very cold day, before I get on, has matchmaking improved at all? I saw the 343 post about the update so I was hoping for some good news.

it sucks to buy games with issues, but it's been out a day. I doubt it'll still suck a week or more down the road, but who knows these days.

games i would play for all of 3 days which is why i don't buy them.

this collection is huge so it'll last long, but even if matchmaking worked the game would still be broken.

Bayonetta 2, in stores now!

Plays great, nice framerate, no pre-order bonuses or DLC, comes with lot of extra content including Bayonetta 1, online multiplayer actually functional

Started the Halo 1 campaign last night and while it's probably nostalgia clouding my judgement, I think I prefer the original graphics rather than the remade version. I was constantly flicking between them but keep ending up on the original side of the fence.

Curious if I'll feel the same with Halo 2 but I'm going to try do the campaigns in order.

Edit: I'm a bit disappointed that all the multi player armour is unlocked to begin with since I was looking forward to finding all of the skulls in Halo 3. I still will but that was a fun incentive originally.

I don't think just that would do the trick. They need to make it smarter. Last I checked, if I wait for matchmaking and want to snap TV while it searched, it puts TV in the upright corner. Then I have to press some inputs once the match is actually found.
How it should work is putting the TV in the big box on the left of the screen, making the smaller right side of the screen just display how match making is going, and then automatically snapping the game back to full screen once the match starts. Right now, it's too inconvenient to really use, and even if you do use it, you see it in just a tiny block of the screen.

Figured I'd try some campaign playlists in the meantime since multiplayer is damn near impossible to get into at the monent. Started up the playlist for playing the final mission of each game, made it through Halo 1s and 2s, but the game refuses to load Halo 3's. Starts to load then just black screens and throws me back to the MCC main menu. I understand games have issues at launch, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not extremely frustrated and disappointed..

I've actually met a few really cool HaloGAFers since I got MCC, which is cool. I know I never really post here, but if anyone is ever up for custom games (whether just for fun or pseudo-competitive, I'm not that good), my gamertag is Mumford730.

Halo CE Campaign Scoring must be broken or something. I was halfway through AotCR and suddenly the game stopped giving me points. Every time I killed an enemy a red zero would appear on the screen, but deaths still counted against me, LOL.

This game will need quite a few patches, that's for sure.

i don't mind the tab they're using. A dedicated snap button would bring up the snap menu when you held it, snap it when you double tapped it, and let you quickly change what was snapped - all without going through the home dashboard. Would be an evolution of the 360's guide menu.

I wouldn't have a problem with their current setup if the dashboard didn't lag, freeze, double back on itself and then crash.

So is there a way to turn of the hit confirm beeps in halo ce multiplayer? I thought I heard that was an option but cannot seem to find it anywhere.

Pretty sure that's not a bug. I think you ran over the par time. Your score and multiplier will decrease if you're too slow.
