I managed to play a 4v4 Multi CTF on Sanctuary (or whatever it's called now) and wow do I ever need to stay away from the multiplayer while I get my Halo legs back because that was the single most frustrating Halo game I think I have ever played. I was just god awful and the other team was seemingly an MLG Pro team. It's been almost 2 year since I last spent any decent time with Halo (and it was 4). The movement, aiming, sensitivity, and 60fps all are taking some getting used to because it's been so long. H2A multi is amazing, I am just terrible right now.

Nothing's changed for me. Tried team slayer, and now halo 2 classic. 5 minute wait times on both and haven't found a single person.

Just loaded this up for the first time. I guess trying to start with a Big Team Battle match was a mistake. After finally getting enough players, I've been stuck on the loading screen for who knows how long now, staring at a map of Headlong while random sound effects happen. At least the music is good.

Well, I was gonna check the MP and turns out my bro is playing CE. It's his first time with any Halo campaign so I don't really wanna spoil it.


I'll (hopefully) join the fun later.

After XBL updated to say gtg on status page I tried Mm, got a game in <1 minute in H2A. Since that game I have found nothing with waiting for about 5 minutes in H2A, H2C, Team Slayer, Halo 4...MM still broken :(

Had a random "connection to the host failed" error while searching. No luck at all for me. Also, sometimes when I initiate the search, I see the 'searching for players' on the left, but no 'searching...' in the player slots on the right. Has anyone else seen this? Is it actually still searching for a match?

Tried matchmaking from around 1:30EST to about 2:45. Got one game of Team Slayer 3v3. Started playing campaign again at 7pm EST today. 3 friends in Halo 3, and no real issues aside from getting into the party together initially. Took about 5 minutes. We played 5 missions to completion. I see now the achievement stuff people are talking about. One of us didn't get an achievement or two when picking up skulls. It personally took me 3 tries to get the Iron Skull achievement in Halo CE, but it did unlock eventually.

Trying matchmaking now (11:45EST). I tried Halo 4 first and got nothing (figures). Just got a Team Slayer match and it makes it 5v2.

Sounds like promising news. Starting my game search now. Anyone running into "searching for players" but not having boxes on the right side? It just shows my roster.

So what MP hoppers are working? I found a H3 match in about 5 min, not much else is working that I've tried. Hopefully this is all working by the weekend, its going to be all halo all the time.

Yeah, those randomnly generated 5v2 are weird. It happened to me earlier, we were 5v2 on The Pit, match ended and only one guy left the party. Next match we all thought: "nice! 3v3".

Noup, 6v0, automatic win. Oddly enough, there was a Spartan model of the opposite team just lying there.

Same. I am getting hammered from everywhere. lol

Btw I do find matches now but it never full and teams are mostly unevenly distributed. The fuck?

I don't get a match like that, I back out and go to another playlist until the boxes appear and have much better luck

I tried Team Halo 2: Anniversary since it was the first hopper, minutes tick by searching.
What is the best hopper for games right now?

Thanks, I quit to dash and booted back up and now I am getting the searching boxes at least.
