So is the Xbox One as a system broken or is it just MCC fucking everything up?

If I'm in a party in this game, you can bet it's going to crash and kick one of us out.

This whole experience has been godawful. Single player XBONE games have been fine (this is the first MP game I've had for it), but things like your friends list being snapped to the side and the only way to get rid of it is the home button and then unpin it is absurd.

The patch coming out this week apparently is looking to fix a bunch of campaign stuff so hopefully there's a fix in that.During my legendary solo playthrough of all the games, the only game this ever happened to me on was Halo 4 thankfully. Wasn't checkpoint related though oddly enough! Got a "Untracked Build" error and it wiped 2 levels worth of progress.

That's good to hear. I'm only buying this for the campaign, specifically H2A and Halo 4. As long as it's going to be addressed soon.

Didn't get the memo regarding the 14th Amendment
The achievement issues are kind of a system-wide problem, so I wouldn't hold your breath on that one. They should pop eventually, though.

Yeah, it just seems like the MCC has more problems with them than the other games. Of course that may be because there's just so many of them.

As someone said earlier, it's something that can't be improved without rewriting the network code, even for dedis. I wouldn't get my hopes up is all I'm saying.

Oh, I didn't see that earlier post. I hope it can still be fixed. :(

I've at least got a couple from the mission and a half I've played of Halo 1

I have a majority of mine so far, but Pillar of Autumn is completely broken it seems.

Lots of fixes. Honestly more than I thought. If it all functions as planned according to the patch the game will be "fixed" enough for me.

Made updates to the attainability of various achievements, including “Goat Roped,” “Monopolized,” “You’re Joking,” and “Devastating.”

Here's hoping it fixes the campaign difficulty completion achievements. Mummy wants her "Legend" achievement!

Halo 3 and Halo 4 probably still have bugs, so those will be updated later.

Everyone knows H1 & 2 eat first.

Anyways, those patch notes hit on everything with the exception of the uneven teams. Is that right or did I miss something ?

Maybe that's for the next patch.

I don't think that's really a patch more just tweaks to the matchmaking system they can do on the fly. Fixing the matchmaking system and therefore player matching will also affect party/team matching. Another words it improves itself naturally and they tweak on going for the next few months.

Halo fans can now joke about stability updates.

Time for the gifs.

This list is huge, if this in fact works for everything it is listed, and indeed fix the matchmaking waiting issue, it will be huge.

There are some stuff about SP that, if they really fix matchmaking tomorrow, they will need to pay attention on the next patch:
-Halo 2 save issues
-Halo CE mission skipping (the one before Library)
-Halo CE sound issue (in the same mission as above)

Hope that patch tomorrow really works for all those things. If they do, Halo MCC will get back its value!

Got a bit of advice for those of you who aren't finding difficulty related achievements unlocking.

1. Go to https://www.halowaypoint.com/
2. Sign in on the top right corner.
3. Once logged in go to the top right again and click on it, and then click on "profile"
4. Click on "view service record" and select Halo MCC
5. Scroll down and select the campaign you want from the dropdown list.

This gives you an up to date list of all missions, time, score, and difficulty complete for each one. I found out the game hadn't been registering some of the missions as complete despite me doing so, and my game telling me I completed them on Legendary. Thankfully the damage was minimal for me. Had to play through "Reclaimer" on Halo 4 again to unlocked the "Lone Wolf Legend" achievement, and replay 3 missions on H2A to unlock the Legend achievement. Which I'll get to work on tommorow.

Well, I'm stuck waiting to play the Halo 3 campaign in Sweden, because it straight up won't start for us. :D

There's a region setting fix you can do, but come on. Come on.

Shifting focus a bit here, is there any goddamn way to get a healthpack from one of those support vehicles that drops troops down?

I'm sitting here with two bars of health in the middle of a mission with absolutely zero healthpacks in sight.

So yeah, using Halo waypoints profile mission tracker method to figure out which levels the game hadn't registered legendary completion properly, I've finally done it!

The last missions I had to replay again on legendary to get it to register where the final 3 missions of H2A "Uprising", "High Charity", and "The Great Journey". Christ, I've done in a week what would usually take me a month or two to do with most other games. Well worth the £40 considering the hours I've put in!

Still got to complete them all in co-op, only got the solo box filled out for all of the campaigns!

That's a lot of fixes, but unless I missed something, I don't see anything about fixing the crashes. That's my biggest issue.

Turn your console on. Hold the power button for five seconds. Unplug power cable. Put it back in after five minutes (that's how long the console keeps data in memory), reboot, should work then. If you still have crashes it might be related to bad sectors on your HDD, move installation to external or internal HDD and see if that helps.

Uh, the game contains many known and documented crashes. It has nothing to do with console hardware.

Wow, this thread has really slowed down. It's starting to fall off the first page. Hopefully this hasn't hurt the game too much.

Does anyone know if 343 put in a counter in the game that shows the online population for playlists? It would be interesting to see the numbers after the patch is released.

I don't think they'll ever put a population counter in a game again.

According to that five of the halo 2 missions I did on legendary have not counted. I have 0 desire to do them over.

Hate dumbasses that team kill because of a weapon. Why doesn't this game have boot for betrayal?
No doubt that was part of the reason that Halo 4 included personal ordnance. Just like join-in-progress was added to alleviate team imbalances when players drop out. Just as icons to show when power weapons were going to drop alleviated the problem of players not knowing the map spawns and timing.

Halo 4 gets a fuckton of shit on these boards (and elsewhere), but I still think that a good many of those multiplayer design changes were based upon trying to solve some very real long-standing Halo issues and not purely aping COD just because.
