True. They are probably also terrified of the Halo 4 playlist population numbers to get out. It's probably around 150 people.
I was one of them
I love my sprint

No doubt that was part of the reason that Halo 4 included personal ordnance. Just like join-in-progress was added to alleviate team imbalances when players drop out. Just as icons to show when power weapons were going to drop alleviated the problem of players not knowing the map spawns and timing.
Halo 4 gets a fuckton of shit on these boards (and elsewhere), but I still think that a good many of those multiplayer design changes were based upon trying to solve some very real long-standing Halo issues and not purely aping COD just because.
I don't think they'll ever put a population counter in a game again.

And you are not even at the hard part of T&RMan, Legendary is kicking my ass. I can't even get past the Truth and Reconciliation Lobby with the Stealth Elites.
Is there an achievement for beating it solo in Legendary or just beating it period?
Improved a variety of networking issues to allow for improved consistency between host and clients in peer to peer matches
Anyone know how to set up a system link co-op game?
Fuck this noise.
Should have been "ensured 99.9% of matches are played on the dedicated servers which we used to sell this game to you instead of this broken p2p garbage where the worst connection in the game pulls host".
System link doesn't exist anymore...
Closest you can get is being on the same lan connection and playing through XBL. That's if it even lets you connect multiple people through the same connection.

It's a fallback system dude if for whatever reason dedis were not available, would you prefer no gaming if the azure servers had problems?
I used the waypoint per your instructions, and I see that I have killed 3200 enemies,Holy shit, playing through "Reclaimer" again unlocked the "Thanks A Killion" achievement.
Thanks A Killion (20G)
Kill 20,000 enemies or players.
Haven't played one multiplayer match, hard to believe I've went through so many enemies!
.....
Christ, I've done in a week what would usually take me a month or two to do with most other games. Well worth the £40 considering the hours I've put in!
......
If this update is as good as they say, it should make for an awesome weekend.
And considering one of the main reasons for buying MCC was finally being able to play Halo on dedicated servers, it really is a big deal.
Considering matchmade p2p crap is virtually unplayable (unless of course you count being unable to move or shoot but being able to see the host kill you over and over "playing") I really would prefer to not be playing.
And considering one of the main reasons for buying MCC was finally being able to play Halo on dedicated servers, it really is a big deal.
I have this sinking feeling that we're not going to be playing on dedicated servers yet with all these p2p fixes...
Gonna be funny if it's around 5GB !Really want to know what the size of this patch is. Didn't see it in the notes.

Halo 3 on Heroic is so much easier than I remember. Gotta up it to Legendary.
Dat Tsavo Highway tho. <3

What were you trying to do when this happened, exactly?
You can just drive past most of the encounters in the level. And once you grab a grav lift you can skip the whole defense portion of the mission by chucking your Hog over the otherwise-impassable crevasse.
Hit me up if you need a hand in CE. I'm not sure If it's me getting better at halo but I flew through the legendary campaigns so far. I actually think Halo 2 is easier than I rememberMan, Legendary is kicking my ass. I can't even get past the Truth and Reconciliation Lobby with the Stealth Elites.

I decided after beating all the 360 Halo games on legendary that I will not be doing that for the MCC because it takes too long. My next legendary run will take place in Halo 5.

The list of patch notes is so extensive, I'd really be willing to bet that this stems from something bigger. The entire multiplayer has to be downloaded in a patch right? I'm willing to bet the actual day one patch that went along with it was not included somehow, and this is said day one patch with a few other things worked in.
Colossal failure on MS/343's fault though. We're 9 days after launch right now. It points to a bigger problem, one that's industry wide and people have really been bitching about this holiday season. I just hope it all works as intended.
they fixed it within a week, It's not that bigger fail, we've seen worse in gaming this year.
Wait for patch and chill out.
( I too was pissed at launch but hell, I am pleased they got a lot fixed so quickly) Remember this is probably a Microsoft issue not the dev.
It's Halo.
It's Microsoft.
YES, this has been a colossal failure on their part. No way to know if 343 or Microsoft is to blame but they're both the same company. This is a first party game. Inexcusable. Even if this fixes it, which I sincerely hope it does, the damage has been done. And I'm not speaking emotionally. I'm speaking objectively. I don't even have the game or an Xbone yet. I'll be doing my legendary runs starting Christmas day.
It's one of the easiest in the game!So there's an achievement for getting the scarab gun.
Fuck. That.
