Did the patch fix the stuff?

I've played three matches in an hour. All have been 6v4 or 5v4. Still terrible and inexcusable, but an improvement.

Can find players to play quickly(!!) but parties are still fucked (can find games with them, but split/difficult to join each other).

Try restarting the game. Couldn't find a match for the longest time. Restarted Halo and got matched up in 30 sec. Probably just luck but worth a shot.

That worked.

What the fuck, we still need to reboot our game if the lobby system bugs out? come on 343...

Matchmaking seems fixed but party stuff isn't. People on other teams, not taking people in a party with you etc etc

I'm having a good experience so far. Played a couple games now with no lag. I can wait to try out CE

I keep seeing that parties are still messed up, but at least we can play MP.

Damn dude give it some time. People are still able to play with the old code and not even prompted to download the new thing. I would imagine we wont see the full effect of this patch till tomorrow when everyone has a chance to reset the damn game/system.

Posts like this make me feel like Cliffy B was right with his tweet about this place.

Just got an even team in Halo:CE 4V4, and the aiming and shooting it definitely improved. Feels a LOT nicer, and reliable then what it was before. I got put on the opposite team as my friend though.

Wow, Halo CE's netcode is SOOOO much better. It's basically like playing over LAN. Now if only that CE playlist would get here, as playing 5v5 on these maps is silly.

I'm going to agree, when it works it works like it should, then it breaks and you either wait 10 minutes or reboot the game to start finding matches again.

I worry that these fixes we have are just patches stuck on old broken code and it will be like this forever.

The roster glitch where you back out of a game but somehow the game still thinks someone you played with is your party leader is still there. I have to reboot the game.

What I like most is that the menu you see when you're NOT party leader is MUCH more intuitive than the Party Leader menu.

Main info is right there to click and go on...

Instead, you get HORRIBLE convoluted menus typical of 343.

Damn me and my digital purchases.

For me it works for a game or two then I have to reboot the game to get matchmaking to connect to anyone again, so it's half way there.

I want to try co-op but can't until tomorrow.

Wondering if anything network related fixes the de-sync of halo 2 co-op on one of the arbiter levels.
