Matches really fast. Get put into 11/10 game, 6 v 5. Splits my friend and I. We both lose connection to the game at the post game carnage report.

I can confirm the party still breaks when backing out of a lobby, requiring you to reinvite everybody. I just don't even know how to react to this anymore.

Looking back, Bungie really did do something impossible: They made a game whose online chops on old hardware (halo 2 xbox live) look like an age of future man before a great darkness enveloped the earth and left us with 2014 xbox live and the mcc.

After two matches the lobby can't find and connect anyone again and i'm not in the mood to reboot halo and try again, see how it works tomorrow.
It's rather upsetting that I want to play destiny's crucible more then this collection, I thought it would be the other way around...

Friend and I searching.... searching... find a game, get hung up in the lobby, he drops or so we thought he did, match loads, black screen where we can all hear the game noises, game image shows up and then we crash.
And this is what my friend saw throughout, then just randomly started loading the map.
Most broken ass game I've ever played. Glad the patch fixed things!

For all of its faults, Destiny has been a rock solid online experience. I always find Crucible matches or Strike team members in seconds, and the only time I haven't been able to play online was during a PSN outage.
Bungie are god tier at online integration, across whatever platforms they work on.
343... not so much.

I just played 3 matches, 4vs4 with no issues at all. It took a little time, about 5 minutes to get going, but once it did it worked pretty good. Second match loaded pretty quickly and it found people much quicker. 3rd match was the same, very quick. A friend though was having issues and it locked up on him twice.
So it looks like the patch did some good, but still not where it should be. I just have to wonder for a title so big, from a company that it's backbone is software that they managed to fuck this collection up so badly. Still sad about the whole ordeal.

I just can't for the life of me believe this. Still borked. I sincerely feel bad for 343! It's got to be a horrible feeling knowing the project you worked on is such a complete mess and the Internet is in an uproar.
That said I'm also pissed and saddened I can't smoothly play multiplayer. What a missed opportunity.

First match after the update finds a full group after no time at all and I get MVP on lockout. I guess this means I is matching based on rank now. I am so happy.

Supposedly Xbox Live will let you do a refund on 1 digital purchase. 1 only for whatever reason. Talk to their support.

Wow. can't say I'm surprised that it's still a mess. Going to try it once later. If it's still busted, I'm trading it in tomorrow for Far Cry 4. No longer will I support things like this. If needed, I'll wait until I read reactions before buying games as sad as that shit is.
