because we grew up on Halo and wanted to give it more of a chance to be ok.

Why is it not okay? Seriously? Surely the dedicated Halo community deserve better?

This "gift" better be money of some form, they give us an emblem or something, then Jesus we're gonna see a blood bath.

I miss the Bungie days, so much.

I'm on high charity on legendary. With the updated visuals, halo 2s campaign is fantastic. Not looking forward to the wack ass ending tho..

That makes no sense. I grew up with Halo as well. I'm just not sitting in the matchmaking screen for hours and then bitching about it here. I understand being mad or disappointed, look through the thread, I've posted when I was pissed off too.

But why keep playing a broken game? Just accept it's not working and wait. Or get a refund and move on. By trying over and over again your just frustrating yourself. And that's silly.

Belive me I'm as disappointed as anyone else.

So, this is a thread exclusively for only positive experiences?

I'm not even that frustrated. I got into some games last night, this morning. What is happening now hasn't occurred to me yet and it is notable. So I posted.

No I'm saying that when your having these bad experiences over and over, why keep going?

You see the same people posting the same thing over and over "I've been searching for 2 hours wtf!!". If you've just started playing of course your gonna be upset and post about your experience. But it's doing that over and over again I don't see the point of.

Why are you posting about your good experiences when other people are having a difficult time? Create a new thread.

Managed to get into one game of Halo 3. After the match I got kicked right out of the game and back to the dash board.
Back to multiplayer to try and find another match and no connection.
Making another attempt to no avail.

My desire to unload this turd is growing by leaps and bounds. It's been nothing but a waste of time and has done nothing but piss me off.

- 343: Providing an update on Halo: The Master Chief Collection's most recent content update.
We wanted to provide you with an update on what we’re seeing as a result of yesterday’s content update (CU). We realize that silence and opacity, even when we have nothing new to say, is frustrating. With each change and/or update we make, it takes time for us to capture and analyze the data to determine the tangible impact to the game experience. Additionally, we've already begun work on future updates which will be informed by the data and community feedback we’re seeing from yesterday’s CU.

Our data shows that the CU improved things statistically, but we are aware that far too many are not seeing improvements. We continue to work on these issues, with our primary focus being on matchmaking performance. Additionally, we also noticed that the CU inadvertently introduced some new UI bugs, which will be fixed shortly.

For now, you will continue to see uneven match-ups and larger than normal team sizes in matchmaking. This is a temporary situation that is caused by the fact that we are allowing more players than normal into a matchmaking session in order to improve overall matching times. We realize this is not ideal, and we will reset those parameters to their expected behavior as soon as our matchmaking improves to a level where players are consistently getting into matches in shorter time frames. Additionally, in yesterday’s patch notes, we announced that parties would no longer be split after a matchmaking session, and we’re aware that this bug has regressed. This issue, along with others, will be addressed in the coming content updates. We’ll be monitoring feedback and data over the weekend, and will provide an update on Monday regarding our progress.

Moving forward, we will continue to post the details of our fixes on Waypoint in order to keep you updated with the latest information. Please keep an eye on this thread (http://aka.ms/mcc_updates) for details as we continue to make updates to the title.

Heads up 343, there's a game breaking glitch on the level "Shutdown" in Halo 4. The right bumper to elevate the Pelican doesn't work when progressing to the second tower, making it impossible to progress through the game.

And yes, I did try switching between control schemes in the settings.

Don't get back from a training deployment until Tuesday.... Fuck. I was hoping this shit would be fixed before I got back. Doesn't look like it's gonna happen.

1) Go to store
2) Locate Xbox One game shelf
3) Find "Far Cry 4"
4) Pick Up Far Cry 4
5) Go to register
6) Buy Far Cry 4
7) Go home
8) Eject Halo: Master Chief Collection from Xbox One disc-drive
9) Insert Far Cry 4
10) Play Far Cry 4
11) Take Halo: Master Chief Collection and place the disc into your toilet bowl
12) Flush

Hope this helps some of you guys and girls still having problems!

So I'm finally getting into some matches now and then, but what the hell is with people quitting? Really frustrating to wait so damn long, finally get a match and then half the other team quits as soon as one flag is capped.

1. Walk out of house with Xbone inside.
2. Burn house down.

It's the only way to be sure 343 knows you're mad and not gonna take it.

Yeah, I'm noticing people quit often and aren't replaced. Honestly I'm not enjoying the multiplayer at all. No idea how it's so popular.

I got into a game! Two hours and thirty-four minutes. My high score.

Got wrecked though in game. When some of the games are smooth, they are smooth.

In a situation like this why can't Microsoft do some hotfixes which don't take days in cert to get released, it's more damaging then anything right now.

Hell, you can push an update through steam in 10 minutes most of the time.

It's like Microsoft themselves do not care for the quality of this collection and one of their biggest brands in gaming.

That's what's so silly about the whole thing. When you actually get into the game, the actual game experience is usually flawless.
