What am I doing wrong?
You bought a broken game.
What am I doing wrong?
Well I see the potential for a great game, I really do. But at this point, the frustration is just too much to keep attempting to have a smooth experience. I'm sure others will just power through it but I'd like to just toss it aside and use the money on games I can enjoy here and now instead.I have absolutely nothing against people getting getting a refund and I think they should if this is affecting them this much, but why on earth would you buy it again? Either keep it or get rid of it and don't play it again.
Because this collection could be one of the best titles to ship on X1 if MS delivers the experience they sold through their marketing of the game. Consumers want that game; they just want a finished, polished product. They don't want to be beta testers for a $65 price tag.
I fully intended to rebuy the game if and when it's fixed. I want to play H1-4 online on dedicated servers. . Inject that right into my veins!!!

So basically, we can gather that patch #4 has improved things a lot for solo people, but it's still a broken-down mess if you're in a party.
I'd say that it sped up searching but didn't exactly fix anything else, even causes a new lobby bug which can also cause a game crash.
Multi is basically back. Took just about as long to get games in Halo3 anyways (back in the day). One more patch to make it consistent.
Tried to play some Halo 4 campaign. Got that message instead of the next level.
Got into a 5v5 on Halo 2 on my first try!
The Halo Theme - Scorpion Mix almost makes up for it though!I noticed this too and it bummed me out. I loved Peril
lmfao so true man.. i cry evertimmfw people vote for h2a when it already has 3 dedicated playlists:

Your post offends me.Sometimes you have ten people and the options are Stonetown, Orbital BRs and Wizard.
In that case, H2A is the only sane choice.
Sweeeeet. Snagged the ACU Xbone bundle and got MCC free with it for $229.
What?!?
It's pretty ballin'. Had to trade in my old PS3 to Microsoft to get a $100 coupon off the 'bone tho

Who wants to get pooped on on Tuesday night? (I am busy tomorrow night).
Frankie
I really want to know who's "bright" idea it was to add BTB maps into a playlist with only 5v5. Stonetown is just flat out boring with only 5 enemies.
Halo 2 was a hardcore shooter?
It's kind of amusing to see how people share this sentiment nowadays when Halo 2 pretty much laid down the groundwork for casual FPS games with stuff like strong aim assist/bullet magnetism, regenerating health, and ranks to keep people hooked.
Makes me wonder if Call of Duty will be considered a hardcore skilled professional shooter in 10 years too lol
I never said it wasn't needed, but Halo 2 obviously turned it up higher than necessary to make it easier to aim.Aim assist and bullet magnetism are essential (to an extent) in console fps especially when there are longer kill times and shield recharge a la Halo. Halo 2 provided a large skill gap and that's what gave it a good reputation as a skilled professional shooter imo.

Still better than using a BR IMO.Hey man, I love me some Wizard.
But not with ten people. :/
Big skill gap? I don't think so.You cannot abandon a causal player base to accommodate the hardcore consumer. Even though Halo 2 had a lot of autoaim/magnetism it also had a big skill gap which allowed new people to work their way through the ranks. Don't forget the newer generation of gamers demand instant satisfaction.
