The UI they made for this collection is so shoddy. At the minute I have about 4 UI windows which shouldn't be visible overlapping each other.

Also, this topic is on like page 8.

I didn't like it pre-release and don't like it now. Everything from the background tot he colour scheme to the lack of responsiveness.

Yeah. Did that for the stereo headset adapter. I'll try and resync it to the console/try different batteries. The controller itself isn't switching off (Xbox light stays solid). The game just reports it disconnected. Press A and it's back.

There have been 3 (or 4) controller updates already.

If you just did it in February for the headset => do it again :)

Really ?

OK, the background and colors are each ones own opinion.

But the responsiveness is absolutely great. Everything you click on appears instantly and is really fast, snappy and fluid.

Since I just got this game for free, I'm going to give it another shot. How's the online MM now compared to the first week of launch?

theres so many little things wrong with this game too, they all mount up to it feeling a pain to use.

'Leaving matchmaking' for 5 seconds when you press B to leave matchmaking.
Its these things that make it feel slow.

Go into the Player ID options and hit the bumpers to go between sections, You press right bumper and it moves over then waits for the content to animate in before you can press right bumper again. why? ITS REALLY SLOW

come on UI guys, tighten this up!

Yep I'm done, 3 weeks of this bullshit and I still cant get into games, and in the rare chance that I do there are extreme networking issues.

I tried so hard to give these guys a fair chance to correct themselves but they have just completely and utterly failed. Campaign content is fantastic, didnt have many issues at all, but the MP is an absolute disgrace. I remember a week ago getting into my first h2a match, was SO excited to finally be in a match then not 5 seconds into the game I rubberbanded back 5 feet...this continues the entire length of the game. I can kind of regularly find h2a matches but they ALWAYS end up being unplayable. I suspect it has something to do with H2a's absurd upload spikes.

I feel pretty bad for the artists and talent at 343 and the other countless studios involved, there is a lot of love in this "project" and theres a lot to admire...but its greatest failure is in its own ambition. Put such a bad taste in my mouth that I dont think I'm even going to show up for the halo 5 beta, if they cant fix 10 year old games how in the FUCK are they going to deliver a stable modern game?

It's the upload spikes. H2A takes an absurd amount of upload bandwidth to run properly. I don't understand as it seems to run fine at around 200kbs but then spikes to like 1.5Mb consistently which is too much for my internet.

No mistake, my connection is terrible, but I've never had a game be fundamentally unplayable until now. I can play 100v100v100 Guild Wars 2 without lag, yet can't play 4v4 Halo. Ok.

Meh, this is the least of my problems. The Xbox One UI itself is 100x worse than the Halo MCC one. Trying to bring up achievements or the party app takes literally 30-45 seconds for me

Yeah, particularly when using the shoulder buttons to go through different options. Just seems slow and clunky. It's the same in The Halo Channel.

Found a used copy of CoD AW, since Halo is still not working that well for me, I said why not, maybe they improved things this time around.

A couple of levels into the campaign and I nope'd. Ugly aesthetics, shooting enemies still feels like shooting bags, and the gunplay generally just doesn't feel satisfying at all.

Then I tried the MP..

Nope. I'd rather wait 5 or more minutes to get into BTBs than to play this game.

Enemies die in like 3 shots.... you can't say that about COD when playing a game like halo lol COD AW is far from a bad game.

Players found...
Connecting session...

Sometimes when I log in I'll get a couple of games back to back but then there are still a lot of instances where it just takes forever to connect to a match. I also had a weird hard-lock where it did that noise skipping deal coming out of a mp game.

Man, this whole deal is so super disappointing. Can't be stressed enough.

Edit- And hardlock/sound deal again where it just booted me to the dash. Waited about 10 minutes to to get into a BTB game. Halo 4 is picked and the map loading screen comes up and then it says game over and boots everybody back to the searching que again. I try to quit out of the group and the sound/hard lock happens.

Goddamit.

I spent about 3 hours in MCC multiplayer today. I did get a decent amount of games in (which is definitely an improvement) but the amount of clear bugs still in the game is properly hilarious.

I had UI elements just stuck on the screen for no reasons, games going to 'GAME OVER' during the level load, matchmaking sticking at stages... Even one game where I became session leader during matchmaking and could kick people (apparently that issue is back). It feels like have a full time job beta testing this game while playing it. So unprofessional this shipped.

I dunno man. I traded that game in after an hour of playing, but even still I couldn't hate on the aesthetics. Game is really nice visually

So is the game fixed yet? I really want to get it

Not really. Basic matchmaking mostly works (although quite slow) but the game is riddled with bugs. Single player still has issues (eg saving doesn't work in Halo CE). Most of the matchmaking playlists from launch are still missing as they can't get it working right.

By that I mean their AI, hit reaction, death animation, everything. Soulless bags for you to shoot. Just like in every other CoD, they don't move around, they have a very limited set of locations they can't move away from, and their bullets just magically fly to your face whenever you pop your head. It feels like a very, very old game in this aspect, so old even Halo:CE seems like something from the future when compared with, and I don't see this changing anytime soon as long as they're using that old-as-my-grandma engine.

Not to my eyes ;) I found it ugly as sin.

The MM improved, but not fully fixed from my experience.

Nope, hold on to that $ for now.

Damn. Shows me to buy a console for one game

I haven't played Halo in so long, when I got on now it feels so slow. . I know GAF didn't like how Halo 5 looked but I am extremely excited for a more fast paced environment.

What pisses me off the most is that I honestly got this game to co-op Legendary with a buddy of mine, and even that disconnects ALL the damn time. It wouldn't be so bad if the Xbox One dashboard didn't make me want to bash my face in . . .

But anywho! I'm going to try and stay positive. I thought maybe opening my NAT would help? I had moderate NAT. Then I opened a bunch of ports, and went from Moderate to Strict. What?! lol. And my modem has no DMZ option, which would make this way easier.
