Download bug happened to me with Shadow of Mordor. I did try starting it from a Pin the very first time, though. I wonder if that's why.

How do you completely turn the console off instead of stand-by mode?
Go to settings and turn off energy saving mode
Unplug the sucker!

3% after half an hour. Way slower than any download we've had. Sure we could cancel again to see if that works, but that would set us back a while if it fails.

Either unplug, change settings to "energy saver mode," or press and hold the button/logo on the front.

Haven't a clue if the old preinstall even exists on the box anymore. This renders the entire preloading process pretty null and void.
Hold the Xbox power button on the console for 10 seconds.

Time to sleep, played some halo 1 and halo 2 (beautiful FMV's) but no working matchmaking with servers makes me sleepy, hope this works tomorrow.
I might just waste time making forge space maps until things are working for matchmaking.

Waited until 12.00am UK time to test out my pre load and thankfully it all seems in order.
Played the first stage of the remastered second stage and they seem to have done a good job of it. The new audio is excellent, especially when you can instantly flick between the original and updated version of the game to compare.
I might just be rusty after playing a lot of Titanfall recently but I was getting my ass handed to me on heroic. Was H2 harder than the others? It's the game I'm least familiar with out of the series.

I have two questions:
First, where is the option to change the Halo CE music between classic and remastered? Halo CE Anniversary had this somewhere the options, but I can't find it here.
Second, is there a way to change the language of the game without having to change the language of the whole console? It's quite annoying, because you have to restart the console everytime you change the language in the console settings...

Can't speak for heroic but Legendary was supremely difficult in Halo 2
Did not know that it's still locked in the U.S.

If you get the Install prompt and you preloaded DO NOT PRESS INSTALL. Just back out of the menu, wait a minute, and it will change to Play.
Played half an hour of Halo 1, still great. Waited for half an hour on multiplayer matchmaking for Big Team Battle. No players joined. Not sure how well this sold.

Good to know. Anyone else who had successful installs from their original preload, plz share what you did to make it work the first time.
Game hasn't released in the US and there are a plethora of options. I'm guessing the population is spread a little thin right now.
I actually ended up canceling the download then trying to reboot and nothing happened. I ended up uninstalling and re downloading..

I'd say the live servers being hammered is what's slowing you down.

It's already out outside the U.S., and most of the world ain't in the US. That said, it may just be MS cloud issues. I just got into a Slayer match, but it hung at the loading screen and scoreboards for several minutes. Something ain't right.

Can anyone confirm that co-op is possible while the game is still installing, without the multiplayer patch fully downloaded/installed? I'm hoping I can put in my game tonight when I get home from Gamestop, wait about 10-15 minutes, and hop into a campaign mission with a friend.

And my issue last week when it hung at 33% then dropped to 31% was because my download got interrupted. This isn't gonna end well for people in the middle of downloading the game. Ugh
