Some people are selecting 'Install' rather than waiting for it to change to Play (takes after 30 seconds after booting). Doing install reinstalls the game.

I preloaded both successfully, just don't pick option to reinstall - switch on, wait, open game.

It may have been a bit slower but not to the degree that people are saying here. Waiting 15+ minutes for a match is pretty excessive.

When you say "booting" do you mean clicking on the MCC tile? And if so, when you click on the tile, wouldn't it just automatically launch the game?

Low population is not the problem, there's already more people on Halo than Ghosts and Horizon 2. Sounds like it's just slow.

And my issue last week when it hung at 33% then dropped to 31% was because my download got interrupted. This isn't gonna end well for people in the middle of downloading the game. Ugh

it's back up. dropped down to 48% but now it's at 49%.

I'm hoping this is ready to go by midnight eastern time.

Good point. Considering they have been saying that with MCC the matchmaking will be quicker than ever, I'd imagine that this will all be fixed soon.

Must of been a very short outage as I just got home around 20min ago and am currently downloading Lords of Fallen and it is flying like bat shit. I started it 10min ago and it is almost at 60%!

So wonder if this is just an issue more with MCC that perhaps the servers are a bit different or allocated for that game that they are having issues with.

On my Wifes system we are downloading Sherlock Holmes and that is via WiFi and it is also flying, currently at 50% done and it has been only going for 15 min or so.

It did that for me with SSOD and I'm CST. I went to the game page and clicked on it and it took me into the game at 11 CST/12 EST.

Yeah, for the record I've not seen the ability to kick people for matches. It may be a bug, or some kind of fallback mode.
