It's only a minor gripe (given the huge pile of shit that is matchmaking right now) but why is there no option to back out from one playlist to another without losing everyone in your party? That shit is annoying.

When playing split screen team slayer on one xbox is there anyway to ensure you're put on the same team in matchmaking? (Playing 3 player split screen on one console, we all have live gold memberships).

I've been getting a couple of strange glitches. Some really awful screen tearing that randomly shows and also every now and then the enemies turn invisible for just a second or so. Nothing that is worrying me too much just some things i've noticed. Loading times also seem to be pretty bad considering that game is installed but i can deal with that.

Overall having a fantastic time with the game. It's easy to forget how hard the halo 2 campaign is, it's nice to actually have a challenge. Don't think i'll ever be able to win the campaigns in 3 hours, seems crazy (mainly for halo2 anyway).

Having so much fun with this game. Outside of SC2 and smash bros i doubt i'll be playing anything else for a long time.

I've also had to quit and restart the game twice after getting a black screen when coming out of a matchmaking game.

Well, this has been one hell of a disappointing launch. I haven't gotten into one match since it's been unlocked, also Halo 2 on Legendary is crazy difficult and my ego has taken a hit.

If you go into Options screen you can change the controller button layout, the 2nd preset adds LT to ADS and right bumper to grenade. Works really well. Also allows you to change it in all the games.

PS: Aside from matching making not working, custom games also appear to be broke now. The Power of The Cloud(tm).

Sadly the release is quite fucked up. I had to reinstall the 15gb patch, while some the entire game. It has downloaded already for me, but I still cant play (am at class now). And it seems that matchmaking is still not working.
MS should communicate saying they're working at it.
