Tried all of the games, and the campaigns run great, 60fps consistent across all the games it would seem. And all the little graphical tweaks and updates make the games all look a bit nicer too! Impressed so far with that half of the package.
You're getting people's hopes up. It's not 60 fps across all campaigns. The first level, sure, but things don't remain that smooth. Halo 1 and 4 are quite rotten in that sense.

Some of these posts I'm seeing are bumming me out. How are the campaigns playing for everyone? Some of these posts make it seem like the whole package is garbage. I can't play until after work, so someone please restore my hype!!

Almost usually 60fps.

Look....its fine. You'll like it.

The first thing to install for me was halo 4. I kinda laughed and cried about that lol

Also is there no in game way to find content created by others?

Given the performance issues highlighted in Eurogamer (and especially for split-screen) it may have been best to lock the A games at 1080p/30fps and not enable instant switching. I love 60fps, but I'd rather a consistent frame rate and Halo CE A goes below 30fps at times.

Just played all the way through to the beginning of the game to the end of Silent Cartographer in Halo CE. Smooth as butter for me. Noticed a bit of stutter and frame drops during the cutscenes though, but outside of that, it's been fantastic. If there have been any drops for me, it's been nothing noticable during gameplay.

I haven't played it yet, but going on everything said here. I would have rather not have this product if it's not done right. Was hoping that outsourcing wouldn't mess things up, but seems like all of the pieces are not fitting together properly. What did 343i even do for this game?

It gets better. Once it finally is installed, you can't even play multiplayer properly!

Why can I only play Halo 4 first, and not 1? Stupid install...

How is performance in split-screen across the different games?

Dips to 30fps in the campaign if you play splitscreen co-op, Halo 4 being the worst offender, apparently it's incredibely unstable splitscreen. Halo 3 and 4 have the big black side-borders in splitscreen co-op too, just like the 360 versions.

first attempt at matchmaking and it crapped out on the loading screen. Second go it wont even find any players.

Fan fucking tastic when I have the afternoon to myself

Thats my thoughts exactly. They should let it locked to 30, or at least give us the option to. By what people say, specially about Halo CE, they made a very weird choice placing it at unlocked 60.

thanks for the answers.

i hope we'll be able to upload film clips from theater. i don't think we've been able to do so with halo since bungie discontinued their rendering service with Reach.

Halo 4 definitely the best looking game I've played this gen. The cutscenes that I watched in Halo 2 just incredible. So far so good on single player.

FUUUUUUUUUUU POSTMAN! Still no MCC from game. Seriously tempted on just getting the digital version...

lmao, that would be funny if you ordered digital and started downloading, then the postman pops around the corner with your disc and it would work out quicker to install from disc

You not got any tracking number?

i find myself always playing the halo 2 classic mode. tried playing with the new graphics and sounds but it looks and feels wrong.

I am always switching back because it is just more "fun" with the old graphics.

Does anybody remember the ragdolling being as hilarious in H2A as it was in the original? I finished an elite with a BR headshot, and he flew straight up into the air, and banged his head against the ceiling of the room before falling back down!

I heard 2 Anniversary has big performance issues too when not in classic mode. Is that true as well or is it fixed in the final version?

Having played levels from all four games in MCC, Halo 4 is the best looking in my opinion.

Good Lord, how did they get these visuals on the 360, I don't know. Was stunning on the 360, and still is on the One.

well I had one really really big slow down. In the beginning of cairo station when the covenant blow up that door? during the explosion the fps went down really bad and the picture froze for a short time. since then nothing bad happend.

But now I just play in classic mode most of the time.

Me and my friend played some split screen matchmaking last night. The frame rate was so terrible on gungoose CTF. Seemed like it was down below 20 somehow.

Just about to head on to mission 4 "Outskirts" and nothing major so far in terms of performance, and that's with me sticking with the updated visuals. I could imagine the game having performance issues later on in the campaign though.

Thats what i expect to happen haha. GAME said it was dispatched later on Friday but no real way to track exactly where it is. Grrrr

I died in a campaign mission, saved and turned off the system and later finished the mission without dying and I still got an achievement for not dying in a campaign mission
