You have to switch your xbox one language to english. I play it in english and bought it from the german store

Aye. Matchmaking is buh-roken. I had two perfect matches and then everything went to shit from my third match on. Wouldn't match me up with anyone, and the game froze on me twice.
The campaign worked well for me though. No hiccups there.

Played two or three matches last night. Got my ass kicked all over the place. Had to leave to see why my 1 year old son was crying. Tried matchmaking again when I got back 15 minutes later, didn't work so i just played some HCE campaign. Hoping they get the matchmaking squared away before I get back on tonight.
Halo 2 had a closed beta, but regardless, given how unique the MP for this game is (ports from 3 different platforms, 15gb launch update and change in nature of networking) an extensive Beta should had taken place IMO.
They weren't in the original game. The engine was never hooked up for it.
Unless the original cutscenes are missing them too.

Yeah I will try the single player of both Halo 2, to see if it will work alright, and Halo 3, to see if it wont stutter. Its strange... I think the problem is from my side. I dont know if I will need to reinstall the whole game (unfortunately its digital purchase).
Im a bit disappointed with all those probles though.

Currently doing this with the wife actually. Once we get to 3 I think we can start 4-player, right? She's never played a Halo game btw. It's funny seeing her so aggressive since it forces you to play that way when compared to Destiny. Seriously, she just gets in there and laughs out loud with each melee strike. Never thought she'd be an aggressive first person shooter player, but Halo seems to be making her one now.
I was quite confused with the menus at first, but ended up getting the hang of it. I was only able to play 1 match with a GAF friend last night and 1 campaign level. It kept kicking each other from our party. It was really frustrating. And in general we could not get in any matches. We struggled just to start a campaign level (with a party). Someone invited me to their game, and I tried joining but it wouldn't let me (sorry about that).
I'm guessing others had issues last night too?
Anyways, I hope it gets resolved. Going to try again today. Hopefully I can get in on some matches with GAF people.

I got in two matches in a 30 minute timeframe. One was very laggy, but the second one was running okay, but the teams were unbalanced again. I was trying out team slayer and it seemed like I was getting in games in 3-4 minutes wait time

As someone who was only getting this for the single-player because he didn't own a 360, are the campaigns working well?
Other than the one npc stuck in a pillar I haven't heard too much about the campaigns. I wasn't planning on playing too much MP considering I have so many other shooters available.

It's fucking awesome. I played some of halo 1 and 2. Looks amazing and runs great. Make sure to press the back button at times to switch back and forth between the old graphics and the new graphics to check out the differences. Thought that was pretty cool

Anyone have any thoughts about splitscreen? Digital Foundry says it really takes a hit performance wise which dampers my excitement for it a lot actually.

Really disappointed with the server issues. Been playing for 4 hours, only had 3 games.
Loving the single player though and the cinematic are outstanding. I swap between quite a lot, forget just how bad halo 2 looks now days, I mean the re-mastered version isn't top notch, but it's a billion times better looking than original haha.

Just sniped a jackal in H2A and he literally flew about 30 feet into the air, did multiple flips and landed in the water. I don't remember the games ragdolling and physics being this over the top!

Well this sucks. I took today off too.
I'm going to bet that this is the game that is played the most in MM, outside of maybe H2A. It's got great visuals with the increased framerate and 1080p, and it more people probably played it than Classic Halo 2. There is also the learning curve with button glitches, etc for Halo 2, so I wouldn't be surprised if Halo 3 is the most played "Classic" Halo game.

I disagree. I think H2 is gonna be the most played. It's the one that esports leagues are using for their competitions and I think it had the better maps personally.
