I've had decent connectivity for all the matches I played last night (a grand total of 4). Three of them were H2A and the other was CE. I never played CE multiplayer so maybe I just didn't notice it being off but my shots did seem to register most of the time.

For the record, surprisingly, I'm really digging Halo 4 at 1080p/60fps.

The lack of awful Cutscene sound compression helps a healthy chunk too.

10 years ago matchmaking worked for goodness sake. I'm incredibly disappointed in this so far. I just want matchmaking to work consistently.

singleplayer - a++ im having a blast. halo 1 is still a challenge on legendary

couldnt do a single mp match. is there an official word out ?

Confession time. I was one of those 'people' who couldn't see the difference between 30fps and 60 fps. Graphical fidelity? Sure. FPS? Other than dropped frames and slowdown - nope.

I hopped into some Halo 3 matchmaking and instantly 'felt' it if that makes sense. It just feels different, but in a good way. Guess I'm a convert:/

Been running matchmaking games no problem. Only one I had issues finding a game with was the Halo 4 playlist. Just wanted to see how it looks, but I guess no one else does lol.

Edit: Also WTF. Big team battle says "Battle it out in 16 player warfare..." then it says. "6v6"

Played some Halo today. 60fps is the biggest improvement of the whole franchise!

It just makes so much more fun now :O

For SP. How many people can you play co-op with?

My friend thinks 3 of us can play all campaigns but I thought that halo 1-2 was 2 players max

2 in CE and h2, 4 in h3 and h4

H1/H2 are 2 player max. H3/H4 are 4 players, just like how they were.

I used my last day of time off for this. Didn't get my first game of matchmaking until 4:10 AM last night, and the game froze and crashed promptly after.

Haven't even bothered turning on the game today. What a mess.

Apologies if this was addressed, but are they artificially limiting the size of BTB until things improve? In the description, it states that BTB matches include up to 16 players, but when you try to find a match, a small info graphic shows the max party size as twelve.

The last of us remaster with the optional switch makes you feel it!

Never felt it before until that game

I haven't made into one match of multiplayer. I let it search for five or so minutes and then go right back to campaign.

60 fps is awesome!
