destiny has spoiled me with its easily accessible friend roster. navigating the terrible xbox one dash to do something as simple as inviting a friend is a campaign mission in its own right.

Press X to open roster. Click on friend invite.

Its just as quick if not quicker than Destiny.

Okay, there's no way anyone can convince me that Halo 4 wasn't originally intended to be a current-gen game until Microsoft wanted it on last-gen.

It looks TOO good.

That's the beauty of running through the Halo games on Legendary. Not only does it truly test your skills, but by the end you end up feeling like a complete boss for having survived.

Ah, yes, the Legendary cheese is real and true to my heart. Halo: CE is especially good for being able to skip past areas.

I don't know if I am familiar with the Halo 2 jackal spot you're referring to. I do know of one where you can use the building rooftops to your advantage. This is in the area where you turn a corner and then there are 3 or so Jackal snipers about 100 feet ahead of you.

Exactly. Undoubtedly, panic mode set in last night, and they are working nonstop to get this fixed. Unfortunately, the end user doesn't see (nor care about) the effort being put into rectifying this problem. They simply see 'Searching..." and justifiably rage a bit. Man. What a crappy rollout for such an important game. Here's to hoping they fix this in a timely manner.

So I haven't played Halo online religiously since Halo 3 and maaaybe Reach, but I don't remember people being able to survive a whole BR clip only to kill me in a few shots. Am I just not remembering clearly, or is my connection giving me hit detection issues?

Kind of pissed off with the online co-op. When I send an invite, the game seems to make it a priority to make anyone I play with who's living in America the host automatically. Meaning 100% of the time I get the shit end of the deal, massive input delay when it comes to movement, shooting and actions, but none when looking around. Half a second, to sometimes almost an entire second of input delay.

You'd think 343 would have learned from Bungies past faults and give co-op it's own server space. Peer 2 Peer is fucking shit. You'd think they'd dedicated server support for ALL aspects of their "ultimate" Halo package.

Man. I left this game downloading when I went to bed last night, slept 7 hours, woke up and it was only % 37 done! Holy crap this game is huge. Oh well, at least I could still play the original Halo, which is 10x better than the 360 version. Buttery smooth and beautiful, this game feels even better than I remember it. What shocks me is just how fun this 13-year old game still is. This is glorious, I really want to play Halo 2 Anniv. :)

I hope so.

Parties seem to be borked as well. My friend and I will try to join one another, something weird happens, then were left in separate parties but the game thinks we are a party together. This means we can no longer try to invite one another unless we restart our consoles; and even then it's not guaranteed to do anything.

I hope so. I have about 8 friends online playing MCC but non are showing up in the roster. Game is a mess right now

Pooping on people who never played Halo 2 online in the ranked playlist is soooo good.

Also, the theater mode in H2A is godly now being able to scrub through all 60 frames in a second is pretty awesome

Playedthe first level of HCEA, then H2A, then H4, then H3... Sandwiching Halo 4 REALLY makes the flaws of the game apparent. It just screams "this isn't Halo," hell, even my girlfriend, probably the least educated about Halo person on the planet, could tell that it was a drastic departure from the rest of the series...

Hopefully 343 learns from their mistakes for Halo 5.......

I bought this two days ago but I can't get the download to finish. Any tips to speed up xbone download speeds? I get 50 Mb down and when I check current usage on my xbox it says it's downloading at 35 - 400 KB. Which is slow as hell. Steam usually gets 5 - 8 MB. Also, I know the difference between bits and bytes.
