New packs, gold/dust- they don't want multiple crafting materials.

Why not, they have it in WOW apparently. I don't expect multiple types of gold of course, but dust seems easy enough since you have to go to the crafting screens, and at that point you're sorta doing advanced stuff anyway. Expansion cards could just use a new color of dust to craft, and dust in to that new color when dusted.
For buying packs, I don't expect any difference, 100 gold for a standard expert or 100 gold for an expansion pack (or if there's 2 types of dust, they could potentially bring the standard expert pack down to 75 gold maybe).
Dust and crafting is essentially how Blizzard is handling card trading. It makes sense for the currency to be universal, so that you can essentially trade regular cards for expansion cards, or vice-versa. Plus, imagine the state of the game several years from now when we have multiple expansions. Trying to juggle 4-5 different kinds of dust? That would be a huge pain.
It will drive down sales of old booster packs if the dust from them (and most of your pulls will be dust these days) wasn't compatible with the new cards. It will complicate Arena rewards as well.

nah they will sell the cards in new packs, just use the same currency.
That's how it is for me. I rarely do more than 4 wins in arena but I just do it for the fun. For that one chance I'll get 5 fireballs as a mage or something, just a game breaking deck. It's the one game type where you can get some stufff you normally don't see. And more often then not, I'll get my pack + 30-50g so it works out to almost the same as if I just bought a pack.

I take my time before conceding. It probably looks like I am trolling but I am often trying to defy the laws of physics by somehow making 4 + 2 = 8.

It has problems with control decks and if you get to topdecking, your game is over.. but it's still hilarious.

Seems like a pretty dumb deck to me that relies on too much luck.
Not so much, it just relies on the opponent not having enough removal. I've been able to play around Consecration and Explosive Trap to get the burst turn in place, but if you get a real control deck with multiple sweepers you're not going to win that game. Yeah, it can do turn 3-4 kills but not very often. You're usually going to finish up by turn 7-8.
I saw Trump playing this Control Priest earlier and made my own with what I had (no cabal shadow priests for some reason)
any tips on how to make it better? It seems alright but I think I keep fucking up the combos because I NEVER play auchenai soulpriests

Ugh... so many random decks with undertaker in it... today I've seen murlock undertaker, druid undertaker, mage undertaker, hunter undertaker... like 90% of the decks I played today ran undertaker.

From a technical standpoint it's ok.
But everything else is a mess.
1) Poor planning: Long pauses (30+ min) between games, which are filled with shitty music and annoying ads. Right now the stream says: "Final starts 13:00 CET". It's 13:34 right now. .. the semi-final was 2 hours ago btw. Virtually no game started on time. And there is nearly no discussion between games. It's either a blank screen, ads or terrible music.
2) the casters ... a bored, salty Reynad and Gnimsh. Nuff said.
The whole thing just lacks enthusiasm and fun. Total contrast to seatstory-cup a few weeks ago.
He was drinking on stream which is not allowed by Twitch's policies.
He was also cursing a lot! But thats the forse we know and love.

Wow really people let Reynad cast. Seatstory-cup was god tier except for Gnimsh who was just confusing everyone with his maths. That really sounds awful glad i didn't waste time watching it.

Forsen and Kolento are pretty much the only streamers I still watch.
Forsen, because it's always fun (if you have some beer ready ;>)
Kolento, because .. well, he is the best player. One of the only players who can reach legend 5+ while streaming.
yeah, I don't really know why Gnimsh is invited as a caster so often. Is there anyone that likes his casting? He is hard to understand, makes no sense and is often wrong.

Were you rank 20 or above? It was distributed yesterday. Or maybe check you're fully patched.
Oh its only for people who play rank? It really wasn't clear enough in the Battle.net launcher. It only said "Play during the month of October to earn that card back!"

Also, my back cards were glitched after the patch, they showed black with some particles effect on top.

Ah, sucks. The details are indeed in the article every month. A good tip from here on is just to play 4-5 games of ranked in the beginning of the month and get 20 and then you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the month.

Yeah but it's obvious he didn't click the article and just saw the box on the launcher. The launcher even now just says play in november for goblin back! But, yes, always read details.

where are the terrible cards and the hungry crab? that's what I usually draw
Eh I don't really care at this point, the only tourney I want to watch now is Blizzcon mainly because I want them to announce a card expansion and hopefully show some new cards that will shake up the current meta.
