You can craft a Very Rare Travel Packs which you can then use infinitely! And it's very easy to craft, you should have most of the materials together if you've been hoarding everything...
Edit: I love this game...yes it borrows lots of elements from many Open-World/Action Adventure games and nothing's really new, but it's got this...handcrafted polish to it? Like bread from the supermarket can be good, but when you get the same bread at a great bakery, it looks similar, has mostly the same ingredients but it's just so much more delicious tasting than the supermarket bread...
Yeah I actually just came across the very rare travel pack at a vendor, but I couldn't craft it because I need 10 rich meat. I also need 20 rich meat to upgrade my mod satchel and resource satchel. Anyways, so I've killed all the small animals that I've come across in the past two hours or so and I've received a grand total of 1 rich meat. I've gotten nothing but useless bony and fatty meat. It's like the game is trolling me at this point lol. Good to know I'll have the option for infinite fast travel available eventually though!
I feel like the inventory system is needlessly complicated. The loot system is not even that interesting in this game so why waste our time with all these pouch upgrades. And the amount that I can carry in my mods/resources is still so limited even after multiple upgrades. I constantly have to drop or sell something. It's a bit ridiculous. Encumbrance systems are never great, but they're usually more tolerable than the one in place here.
The combat with robots is amazing, but the combat with humans makes this game lose a few points, along with the sameish looking dungeons later on in the story. Minor problems, but this game could have been perfect.
I'd prefer a more story driven expansion though.
There's been a lot of human combat in the main missions I've done so far. Really hope there's less of it further on in the story.
To me the best things bout this game by far are the combat and robots.
I want combat driven DLC like Dark Souls for it tbh.
More awesome and tough robots and maybe new weapons.
I agree. I do find the main story intriguing so far, but the dialogue and non-Aloy characters haven't impressed me yet. I'd love some new weapons and robots. The robot combat is the best part of the game for sure.(wonky melee hitboxes aside)
